I have repeatedly said the same thing. It actually doesn't matter who we bring on, our last 20 mins of a game is always the same.

Three new players (everytime) that changes nothing tactically on the pitch and just about always is a like for like. Whatever rhythm we have is always lost as the subs find their feet.

It is a fucking infuriating part to our game plan.

Subs should only ever be used when there's tiredness/injury or a tactical switch. If it's like for like the poorer players are always on the bench.

Amateurish.

Spot on.

Wish people would stop comparing every one of our signings with Dembele. He was never coming here, its irrelevant what his wages are and no one cares what age he is.

I think some of our fan base is just a bit miffed to be honest that we spent over £2m on Garner and Dodoo and they picked up Dembele for a quarter of that.

That's the type of player we should have been looking at. Maybe he would never have came to Rangers but the fact is I don't think we even attempted to sign him and we spent the money on 2 players who are of zero resale value while that mob will bring in over £10m when they sell Dembele on.

Dodoo was a centre forward in a counter attacking Leicester team. He was the youth team Vardy. Pace on the break.

We have taken these guys because they looked like good value then tried to shoehorn them in. Like Barton he doesn't fit the system.

I agree that's the type of player we should be looking at and the signing of Garner for that amount of money was a strange one. Rossiter and Dodoo fit the profile - they've just not made an impact as of yet.

No he isn't, and the manager made a huge mistake in him not coming on instead of McKay. Barrie has a lot to prove if he is to convince the fans he is able to play for Rangers at the highest level.

McKay won't make it at this level.

It seems to take an age for him to gain confidence and seconds for it to go.

I'm beginning to think this might well be the case.  This club has always had players who have a hunger to win; the manager has to ask himself who in this squad has that.

I'm not coming on this thread to slate the boy, but I genuinely did forget he was on the park today.

If he can't impact a game then he shouldn't be getting introduced.

Maybe he's another who needs a proper run out to get into things, but he seems to come on, do two or three decent things, then drops right out of it if nothing comes of it.

Yesterday, he didn't even produce his usual 'two or three good things'!

Is this thread about Joe Dodoo or about dembele?

Too early to judge Joe Dodoo and not getting enough game time to even guess who he will shape up.

If you want to discuss the other guy then you are probably on the wrong forum.

Exactly. If I hear or read the words "dembele" or "brexit" again I'm going to scream.

Anyone who has ever played football knows that coming on in the last 10-15 mins is shit. It takes you 5-10 minutes to get up to speed with the game and then you've hardly time to do anything after that.

It's stupidity or extreme ignorance that tries to judge someone's ability based upon him coming on for 10minutes at the end.

Our 3 subs today were absolutely atrocious.  Made us even worse than we already were, and that's saying something.

Totally agree on this.  One of the issues was that we lacked guile in midfield, this is where a change should have been made.

It's a fucking riddy how every signing we have made ends up being compared to dembele.

Bheggars will be looking in and sniggering.
