Deep into this season we've seen time and time again that we don't have the ability to score enough goals. Living on the edge of success or failure in most games. It's not about possession. It's not about being brave. Its not about preparing well.. Its not about training well. Its not about giving too much respect to the opposition. It's about scoring goals. We don't score enough. MW has not been able to fix this. Clearly a 2nd half of the season with more of the same lack of goal threat will determine how the season will be measured. If the strikers can't be persuaded or coached or motivated to score goals then the remainder of the season promises to be one of living on the edge in each game where confidence about winning may not be a strong as it should be. A fair bit of that will be down to Warburton. He picks the players. It's his team selection. Its his tactics. It's his responsibility.
