Seems to be happening more and more.

Neil McCann is about the only one who doesn't put the boot into us.

McCann trained with Lennon and the Celtic first team for an Old Firm build-up piece in 2011, having a laugh with Brown and co. in the dressing room, then out on the training ground, telling Lennon how well he's doing and what not.

A professional footballer sacrifices his loyalties as soon as he becomes a pundit.

Is that not just being a professional?

McCann isn't even a 'born' Rangers fan but he shows respect to us whenever I see him and that counts for more than the likes of White slating us in the media.

I don't expect McCann to be walking about singing the sash and spitting at taigs....

Me, so should you, White is the highest profile Sports broadcaster in Britain and millions listen to his show, if people accept what he says about "his team" then it only helps those who are intent on wanting our public image to be damaged beyond repair.

So what would you like to see happening?  A statement from our board?  They don't give a shite about the fans.  Their actions following last season's cup final and the aftermath of that proved as much.

Each to their own, but I'm more concerned about the state of our team and coaching staff at the minute rather than what some fud on Talksport has to say.

Anyone else listening to this clown on Talksport. Rambling on about old firm down south again as the league is not competitive etc. Jim White says Celtic have a better case than Rangers because their fans behave better. Thought this wank was a Rangers man?

Was sat 2 rows in front of me when we got presented with the trophy last season & appeared to be lapping it up.

Don't dispute he claims to be a Rangers fan.  But no real Rangers man would say this. The guy is embarrassing

On just now saying that the taigs are better behaved on away days than Rangers supporters! Is this cunt for real? Has he forgotten the bottle incidents? The flying carrier bags full of shite? And so many more! What the actual fuck?

You do realise the flying carrier bags full of shite was a twitter hoax. Don't you?

Which backs up my point about objectivity.

I don't know what I'd like yo see happening to be honest, White to be publicly challenged for his views would  be nice but it's the overall image of the club that worries me, he might be just some fud on Talksport but given the platform he has, his reach to football supporters is greater than ours as a club, perception is everything and this makes us look terrible.

White's words could easily stop guys from being interested in coming to Rangers, guys who could improve our management and coaching, that's why we should care, it's not some whacko on SSB slurring Sevco at Gerry McCulloch

You get Paul Murray wanting  to build bridges with Scottish Football. He needs to get real as football and the media despise our club, plus the fans of other clubs hate us. The scum are running the whole show, Scottish Football and the press, plus TV, while everyone is taking a kick at us.

Jim White....

"The bulk of folk have surmised that I am a Rangers fan," he accepts. "But at the end of the day if the Old Firm play – and I mean this, hand on heart – it doesn't bother me one way or t'other.

"For a long time I was very friendly with John Hartson and Neil Lennon, so they're great mates, and nothing would put me off socialising with them publicly in Glasgow. A few times people have come up to me and said: 'You're Jim White, what are you doing with them?' And I just say why shouldn't I be? They're great lads.

"The first ever game I went to was Rangers against Dundee United and Kai Johansen got the winning goal. But thereafter my dad would maybe tell me on a Saturday morning 'Right, we're going to Celtic Park today' – I remember he took me to Celtic-Aberdeen, Bobby Lennox scored a controversial goal, and I always remember hearing afterwards that (Aberdeen goalkeeper] Bobby Clark had thrown his boot through the dressing-room window.

"My dad would take to me to Firhill too, and watch Partick Thistle. We'd go there more than anywhere else, really.
