One of the reasons Pedro is in the situation he is is because Bruno hasn' t showed up yet.

At his age, most players retire from international football for the simple reason that so many games prevents the body from performing optimally.

The decisions Bruno makes in the next few weeks will be a clear indicator of whether or not Bruno is committed to fulfilling the faith Pedro has put in him, and his dedication to Rangers.

If he choses to play for Portugal in these coming games, especially because of his current injury - one that our physios could easily have dealt with, and would've enabled him to be here with his team mates for the scum game, then it will be damn hard to argue against the contention that big Bruno clearly came to Rangers for the retirement package, and his heart is elsewhere.

So he can juggle playing in Serie A with playing for Portugal but he's to retire from international football to play in the Scottish Premiership or he's just here for the "retirement package"

Fucking hell

A grade 1 tear is a comparatively mild injury with no more than 5% damage to the muscle which our physios are more than capable of dealing with or they shouldn't be in the job.

And if Bruno is playing for Portugal in a few weeks it will confirm the injury was mild.

Apart from the injury, Bruno, thus far, has not demonstrated the dominate 'take no prisoners' aggression he is known for and Rangers need atm, he also chose to play in a mickey mouse international summer tournament rather than play for Rangers in our critical Europa qualification match.

I was ecstatic when we signed him but he hasn't shown up for Rangers yet or for the manager whose job is on the line.

Considering the physicality of his game, It is absolutely naive to think that Bruno's body, at 35, is capable of performing optimally in a very physical scottish league and the toll of world cup qualifying games.

Clearly, he shouldn't be playing international football if playing in a country where the emphasis is on the physical rather than skill.

If Rangers are to come close to challenging the paedos this season, it will take all of the petrol he's got left in his tank. There's not enough to get him to Russia as well.

Love when fans - even 'experts' - know more  from what they read in the press than those actually on the ground assessing a players injury and treatment! Amazing ability to have.

It is extremely dissappointing he missed the old firm but to be accusing him of faking it - which is basically what you are doing is just shit!

Are you saying he had more than a grade 1 tear?

Are you saying that the injury was too severe for our physios to handle?

Are you saying he is giving 100% to Rangers?

Are you saying, knowing the way he plays and his age, that he's capable of dealing with the physical rigours of the scottish game plus the toll of world cup qualifiers?

You've addressed none of these.

He's breaking an exclusive on here later about a fall out between Kenny Miller and Pedro.

Huge, imo.

@RFCRobertson just PM'd me that apparently some guy called Moses McNeil is starting a football club.

Interesting if true.

Are you saying he is giving 100% to Rangers?

So you actually think Bruno's injury was serious, and that a player is capable of such an acrobatic move a couple of weeks after a serious injury! lol

Like fuck did he have a serious injury! This photo is clear evidence his injury was minor, and that, at this point in time, his heart is with Portugal getting to Russia while his retirement package is clearly at Ibrox.

 one wonders why you're so anti a Rangers player?

his injury was obviously more minor than major - not minor as in a bruise and not major like in a leg break but somewhere in between - something that took a couoje of weeks to get over but not months. Everyone who plays football at any level has had those type of knocks.

i go back to my original point - the medical staff and the player are better positioned to judge than any 'expert' on the sidelines - you have it in for alves - fine - so be it - but accusing a player of sandbagging is pretty fucking low.
