What concerns me still is if things aren't going his way he can be like a man down and I'm not sure we can afford that. Suppose we'll just have to keep winning then. Completely agree, I've said it before there's a player in there but there's also a mentality/ confidence issue. With a manager with good man management skills he could be a real asset to us. Getstiffed 8,863
His movement and pace are much better suited through the middle. Said the same about Mckay for long enough but the difference is Josh has the physical presence as well.

philiprfc 1,799
Been one of his biggest critics but he's been fantastic lately, averaging a goal or assist a game lately. This is what we knew he was capable of.
wishawbear87 116
Far superior player playing through he middle and has scored more goals in the last 2 months than he did in a year and a half
A.T.G 10,773
He still infuriates me at times with his terrible decision making. Needs more composure all around the park.
RangersMedia 35,961
Enrages me with his decision making but if he keeps assisting or scoring I won’t complain
Lloyd 10,756
Fair play Windass. Could be a decent partner for Morelos.
Marky. 6,927
Horrible dive today. Don't like that at all, but his pace does cause problems and he covers a lot of ground. Never wanted to track back when out wide and seemed to always want to play further up the park. He's doing better there so here's hoping he continues to develop. Still lots to prove, but he's doing more.
Chineseboy 1,563
Windass and Morelos as our front two could be the way forward.
PRW. 5,631
Showed the past 2 games that he deserves his shot at playing through the middle. His movement and pace has caused the sheep an endless amount of problems, and you can’t argue with his end product recently. He seems to be improving a lot. tannerall 25,935
I'm still firmly in the "not good enough" camp. Morelos deserves a proper striking partner, a position that Miller should be filling, but appears to have realised he can't fulfil throughout 90 minutes. So we still need a second proven striker, and Miller and Windass can only be kept as impact players for part of the game, or preferably punted in January to free up funds for someone like Moult.  Maybe we could use them both as leverage in a deal with Motherwell ? SeparateEntityMyArse 53,725
You want players to make themselves undroppable. Windass has done just that with his last 2 performances from a more central position. Well done lad.
tannerall 25,935
And by the way, a third decent striker as well as Moult and Morelos will be required at some stage this season, so we need to get one of the  youngsters in there too, or at least on the bench and getting game time.

tannerall 25,935
Windass, imo opinion is like Forrester, flatters to deceive, will ocasionally make the most of the numerous chances he has, but ultimately championship or bottom SPL standard.
