What reason did they actually give as to why the SC can continue? They won’t just come out and say “because we, I mean celtic are still in it” so they must have had a reason? Afaik as its the sfa comp rather than spfl they’ve just talked about it as normal (but delayed) and ignored any comparison to the league issue. The UEFA guidelines recommended a delay and the SFA competition seems to have followed this advice. So why did the SPFL follow on a different course? Surely the SFA as the governing body of Scottish football would have been involved in guiding the SPFL in drawing up the proposals they put on the table for member clubs to vote on.
