Domestic European Football

Recommended Posts

Good night in Europe for the Northern Ireland clubs linfield beat the Bosnian champions 4-0 and larne beat the team that finished a couple of points behind that midjyland or whatever the fuck their called.

This conference might give smaller teams a chance to qualify for group stage fitbaw.  Can see Celtic settling in well to it this season.

The Danish league is shit.

I remember @johanhentze actually tried to claim Sonderjyske were far superior to the likes of Hibs and Aberdeen.

Ups and downs.. they actually were at one point. Id still like to see Hibs/Aberdeen get past the likes of Sønderjyske one day.. They sure as fuck havent proved they can.

Scotland are 9th in the coefficients. Austria and Ukraine just behind.

Its Belgium and Serbia whos results are what we should be looking out for.

Scotland are 11th.  When the 16/17 points drop off and we have a decent season in Europe this season we will probably end up in the top ten because Austria will have over 7 points drop off in 16/17 compared to our 4.  Look at Belgium aswell.

A 2-2 draw so Malmo it is then.

Having watched a lot of Europa League games over the last 3 years neither of these teams will do well in it. Not Europa League quality so it's off to the Conference for both of them. Might be a blessing for them. Sides like scum, sheep, spoonburners, teams you have never heard of from former Soviet republics will put them in their comfort zone.

Thank goodness that come next season we have no qualifiers to play.

Still 1-0 larne And other mob a man down.

looks like this conference is helping so called smaller teams, wonder how long for.  Could be five Scottish teams and two northern Irish teams in Europe past august at this rate.
