He obviously still has plenty of time to come good for us, but based on what I'm seeing so far he's a bog standard Championship player who had one good season in the EPL the way that occasionally surprise packages do.

He's never in a million years someone who was going to play week in week out for an EPL club if he hadn't chosen to come to us.

Started two games for us in two completely daft central midfield combos. The one on Tuesday was thrown together due to injuries and suspensions and we'll hopefully never see that midfield three again. 

Today was the wrong three again and he was by far the weakest link out of him, Davis and Kamara because he hasn't played much at all in that system for us, unlike Ryan Jack. However, even if Jack was available it wouldn't have sorted out our attacking woes today.

This week he's been a victim of thrown together midfields and a poor midfield choice today. He made some individual errors, yes no doubt, but again he needs the time to settle in.

Hopefully he gets a chance to play in a base 2 in midfielder alongside Davis or Kamara and not both.

Only once have i ever truly written someone off this early, and it was big Konterman, away to killie early season, 

Mind that team bus breakdown i spoke of in the jordan jones thread, well it must have happened that day and the 10 others that played managed to get to rugby park in two hackneys, and Konterman was taken from the stands to be the 11th, he was fucking ridiculously bad that day and got worse as the season went on 😂

He’s looked every bit an “I’ve played in the EPL so I just need to turn up to be good enough” player, prepared to give him time but totally underwhelmed so far.

Lundstram will probably look like a better player when he plays in a 3 featuring one of Hagi or Aribo, but he really doesn’t look much of a player when he’s alongside both Davis and Kamara. 
 

We badly need Hagi back for the Malmö game. We’ll go out if the midfield is Lundstram, Arfield and Davis…
