Also, our CB's always seem to be in the box when the corner is taken. Should be hanging back and making a run into the box to meet the ball. They're too easily marked standing in the box.

We're the same at free-kicks. I think we have to play smarter and not just lump high balls in. Need to get a few routines rehearsed, try draw some players back out the box before swinging in a high ball.....or, heaven forbid actually take a shot!

Goram never came off his line, Klos never came off his line, the last goalie we had to come off his line was Chris Wood. Few come off their line at corners now for fear of being blocked and missing the ball and getting slaughtered for doing so.

Yes we are very poor at corners but our lack of any kind of shooting at opposition goalkeepers concerns me more. We need to pummel opposition defences with shots fired in from all angles rather than side to side passing and poor crosses.

Why is it that just about everyone knows that an in swinging corner with pace, right on the six yard line gives defenders and the keeper the shitters.

This season we've scored more from set pieces than celtic and have conceded less from these situations than them.

I'm not saying there aren't deficiences because in tight games these small margains have cost us like Dundee United, like Hearts, Aberdeen at Ibrox and even at Pittodrie when they won the pen from a corner. 

In terms of attacking set pieces we certainly miss Borna in these situations because it gave us that double threat from corners along with Tav. 

We havent been pressing really at all this season until recently which hurts us defensively and gives us less opportunity to turn teams quicker up the park. For everything we can slate this celtic team for we cannot deny they are relentless at it and conceded something like 5/6 goals from open play and scored a dozen more from open play.

Corners are the biggest myth in football. Hardly any team ever scores from them. Apart from against us in the last minute when defending a lead.

Not that long ago that we did well from set pieces. It's no longer the case. Got to the point now that I hate us getting corners. I know that the opps will head it away as we appear to have nobody who will go and attack the ball.

They stats might be true, but its more the pressure and panic and chaos that they can cause, 

When the likes of mulgrew or gallacher heeder away the 7th corner we take against them, their confidence goes through the roof, they start to believe they can defend anything

Our set pieces are fucking atrocious, we barely pressure anyone from them,
