Gio Discussion Thread

i can't see Gio changing his style.  the players are not responding to it.  we sit here every week complaining how boring it is.  we don't have the money or time to change to whole team.  IMO if Gio wants to stay Rangers manger he will have to play the players to their strengths instead of us playing boring passive football that is clearly not working in Scotland.

this is on him, he has taken a winning team and turned us into this.  The fact is he took over when we where 6 points ahead.

there is no arguing with it, its facts.  the only way we will change is if he decides to change his way of playing.

Don't even think the fans acting would change the direction the board want.

It’s a business. The fans get it. It’s time this fucking board got in tune with the fans who have been supporting the team with huge amounts of money. They are out of touch cunts!

Trust me, this board would have no qualms chucking the manager if it meant the heat was taken off them.

How the fuck is it Gio’s fault that we’ve cunts sleeping at a throw in then a free kick?

He is the manager, he picks the team ans watched that today and let it get to 3 0 before he made any sort of adjustment when the game was done.

Just like last time they pumped us. Chucked a kid onto the wing and this time done it with a central midfielder with less than 10 top flight games behind him.

So aye he fucked it just like the players and just like the board. Protecting the guy does us no favours if he's not good enough.

One look at his away record in the league tells you everything you need to know. But you will overlook that too no doubt.

We were unbeaten vs them in 7 pre Gio. Won 6.

1 win, 1 draw and 3 defeats since.

Two hammerings.

Blame the players, board or whatever but that's unacceptable from our manager.

Gerrard faced a team on the downturn, Gio got one the exact opposite. Every player they’ve signed has hit ground running, not to mention we’ve fell asleep at a throw in and free kick.

Board didn’t give him anything after  qualifying for CL. Yet it’s his fault?

Miles off it

Yes it's partly his fault. The blame is all around and he gets his share too as all managers do.

If he wasn't backed as he wanted then have the baws to say it and not say the exact opposite as he dais yesterday.

He seemed happy enough

Cunts just want to moan 😂

Away record i take that criticism but how you can watch a group of players run for every throw in, goal kick, free kick and for our players to switch off at everyone of them yet blame the manager is unbelievable.

Funny that, considering Gerrard beat them whilst sitting on his couch last summer with Balogun playing RB and McCrorie starting..

everytime we put crosses in there is no one in the box. the team sit too deep. we make about 100 passes whilst the defending team get a break.

were so easy to defend against.  if he doesnt change his style he should get let go or walk. the players are not responding to his style. its not working. if he doesnt sort this mess out he should be gone.

this is all on him. he turned us from an attacking to team to a boring passive team with no style at all.  its on him. were better than this.

Aye so did Livi and hearts, they were team a building and getting used to a system. No where near the same

Sounds exactly like the excuses and deflection tactics used for Ryan Kent.

Imagine actually sticking up for a manger whos been at the helm for 3 defeats in 4 league matches including a 3-0 and 4-0.

Fucking hell.

So now it’s partly his fault? You’ve simmered down from asking cunts opinion of gio or putting full blame at his door?

The guy got us to an EL final and qualified for CL. Board didn’t back him and players slept on what even the less clued up fan knows, they start fast and take any free kick, throw in etc fast.

Canny honestly believe Gio has asked them to turn their back on it?

Imagine ignoring the fact he’s got us to EL final and qualified for CL.

First two goals killed us, both were a lack of concentration from players. Imagine naw being clued up enough to realise it
