They love to turn sport into a political spectrum.

"Clubs must not allow any message that is not fit for a sports event, particularly messages that are of political, ideological, religious, offensive or provocative nature, to be displayed within the ground"  UEFA

Is the C word not meant to be misogynistic anyway?  At any rate, God help any visiting fans going to parkhead if they're trying to encourage any values of decency in their children.

Yeah, a lot of people consider it to be misogynistic, when used as an insult.  However, "prick" seems to be fine.  I'm  not too uptodate with the culture war debate. At any rate, it's a word that would get a film a 15 rating.

It's used every other word by Scottish people

Then why did the TV feel a need to apologize and then quickly zoom away?

It is totally unacceptable for that to be displayed. The GB advertise whatever they want because no one in Scotland chastises them.

UEFA would have fined them for that.

Because it's a swear word? Did we get fined for the UB 'vote no' display?

I don’t think UEFA would know who Douglas Ross is.

No punishment was handed out for that.

Surely it's how it will be portrayed by the Scottish press that is the actual problem here....a banner that read "get well soon steve clarke" will have received worse press than what is a clear political slogan....I personally couldn't give a flying fuck what they protest at.... i just don't get why we get chastised more than those wee cunts in gb get
