He wont be here if we are beaten in the first two never mind 5. Just can't get too enthusiastic about the last game of the season against them unless we win the semi, during our 9IAR it felt like the tims more often than not always got a result in that last Old Firm of the season and it gave them a false sense of belief that next season will be different, if we don't win the semi, a game with huge significance in terms of silverware, achieving something and also stopping them doing a treble then the last game is meaningless. Even in 2019 when we beat them 2-0 at Ibrox, they came here and phoned it in, our official twitter feed was giving it the 'Glasgow is blue' bullshit, two weeks later they won another treble and the following season they blitzed the league and the cups until Covid cut the season short, it's ok winning games that have very little consequence, it's games that really matter that count and if we don't win the semi you risk giving yourself an inferiority complex. He gets injured, takes months to get match fit, then rinse and repeat. He is 31 now and will start to take even longer to recover from injuries. He has been here almost 6 years and has only made 111 league appearances. Time to cut our losses and spend his wage on a younger and fitter player. Injuries are a problem with him he should also retire from international football if he wants to extend his career with another club. The game passes him by now against them, also doesn't have the speed to track runners, time to part company with him. falkirkNS
