Next season is crunch time for Beale.

He has two get something from these next two games against them the Cup semi being the main one as the league games meaningless now.

Colak has the same calf injury he had seems like he's been rushed back and it's caused the injury to flair up.

As you say the Cup semi final is massive but next season with his own signings there can be no fuckin excuses.

Cup Final the big one for me will worry if we do not do something in that. Next season will be tough ask if he goes five games without beating them.

? You don’t think we’re fitter? We’re obviously taking far more precautions now. But I’d say generally the injury situation is getting better

We currently have nine players out injured, so no, I don't think the situation is better.

He loses the first one then hes under pressure.

He wont be here if we are beaten in the first two never mind 5.

Just can't get too enthusiastic about the last game of the season against them unless we win the semi, during our 9IAR it felt like the tims more often than not always got a result in that last Old Firm of the season and it gave them a false sense of belief that next season will be different, if we don't win the semi, a game with huge significance in terms of silverware, achieving something and also stopping them doing a treble then the last game is meaningless.

Even in 2019 when we beat them 2-0 at Ibrox, they came here and phoned it in, our official twitter feed was giving it the 'Glasgow is blue' bullshit, two weeks later they won another treble and the following season they blitzed the league and the cups until Covid cut the season short, it's ok winning games that have very little consequence, it's games that really matter that count and if we don't win the semi you risk giving yourself an inferiority complex.

Jack certainly shouldn't be offered a contract. He gets injured, takes months to get match fit, then rinse and repeat. He is 31 now and will start to take even longer to recover from injuries.

He has been here almost 6 years and has only made 111 appearances.

Time to cut our losses and spend his wage on a younger and fitter player.

It can’t be as few as that. That must be League appearances?

Madness if we are even considering a new contract for him.
I reckon he’ll get one though - it’s just the typical shite that we do

I rate him as a player when match fit, but we can do better. We can't afford to be sentimental.  That's part of the reason the scum are heading for a treble this season.

Yes, dead rubber. we seem to be saying the same as they said back in the day and I hate hearing our manager say "we competed" that's the minimum we expect.

It makes sense to keep him in the rotation to me, and we need to keep Scottish players too.

But we can't count on him for a full season I agree, another CDM/CM is a priority.

Less than 50% of league games played during that period (including cancelled Covid season) Unacceptable.

Injuries are a problem with him he should also retire from international football if he wants to extend his career with another club.

The game passes him by now against them, also doesn't have the speed to track runners, time to part company with him.
