People may be using the same excuses as last year but it was delusion to use them to begin with to justify the idea of Beale turning it around. That's why people turned so quickly and viciously against him because most of us could see it coming and those who maybe were kidding themselves on accepted reality pretty quickly. He had done nothing in his career to suggest he would turn it around over the summer and didn't deserve the job in the first place, therefore it was all soundbites. Clement at least has a track record, and while there are rightfully questions, it is a fact that there are players who have been here and failed here for too long.
