Thought he played well tbh, very aggresive a few times he was in Motherwells half challenging for the ball, seemed to win most the high balls as well.

Went off in the 2nd half with cramp did fear it was a hamstring or something at first.

Played well in first half apart from the usual brain fart at the back and still far too open in the middle of the park at times, think quality replacements for Lawrence and Wright would take us up several levels but the “quality” after the first 11 is grim.

So we won't give him 5 mins unless certain criteria is hit ie we're several goals up.

What would happen if Dessers got injured in the first minute today? Would Danilo replace him for 89 or not?  Because if he would then its absurd not to give him minutes by now. If he wouldn't, he's no emergency back up he's an player returning from injury who might get minutes if the circumstances allow it. And that's awful management when he could get the right number of minutes in a reserves match.

We can go back and forth on this for the next month, I don't think we should be rushing him back unless absolutely needed, you think he should be getting minutes.

If the sports science guys say he needs say 20mins this week then build it up 5 mins more weekly is he likelier to get that in a B game or from our bench?
