Reckon St Johnstone will get a lift with their new manager so going for a 1-0 or 2-1 to Rangers. Going by my friends, family and folk around me last night I reckon 30,000 won’t be far off the attendance for this due to kick off time, lack of public transport, being on tv and general apathy around the club. The only way it has any impact is if it makes mainstream news for being near empty i.e. a couple of thousand at most which isn’t going to happen. If the attendance dropped to 35k it wouldn’t make a difference financially as they have the money anyway and it wouldn’t attract that much attention other than in our own circles. If we had 30k+ fans attend outside the ground to protest rather than go into the stadium to watch the game it would definitely get their attention, whether they’d actually do anything though is very much in doubt.
