I was attending my staff night out las night it was at Rugby Park's Park Suite anyway after a few drinks the talk turned to January transfers and one of the boys who was there and was from Irvine started to tell us that he knew for a fact that Kris Boyd was being sold to Man City in Jan his evidence for this was insider knowledge that Kris had bought a house in Manchester and was preparing for the move. It's another opportunity to make Cousin look bad by exaggerating Boyd's talent Cousin is a good player but his attitude is shocking. I am grateful for the goals he scored against Lyon, Werder Bremen but I will always remember that performance up at Aberdeen :no: he didn't even care. Reports emanating on Tuesday suggested that Birmingham were lining up a move for the prolific 25-year-old as Alex McLeish looks to be reunited with Boyd. McLeish is a big fan of Boyd having signed him during his time in charge of Rangers and also selected him for Scotland when he was national team boss. Boyd was linked with a move to Cardiff last summer after struggling to hold down a regular place in Walter Smith's side last season. However, Boyd has impressed this season and has scored 18 goals in the SPL this term after forming a productive partnership with Kenny Miller. Rangers chairman David Murray has confirmed they have rejected Birmingham's opening bid for Boyd, but has hinted they would be prepared to do a deal if the offer is right. "Birmingham have made an enquiry. We talked about money but we haven't agreed a fee and no business will be done today," said Murray. OzGers 425 Posted January 6, 2009 Share Posted January 6, 2009 fucking ridiculus- i cant believe murray has come out and said that...its like he is not even playing hard ball! we cannot sell him, he is our key to success...sure, he may have not had much luck scoring against big teams, but its the fact that he always puts them away against everyone else that keeps us going...if smith or murray think lafferty can fill the gap they are mistaken! god i am angry right now!
