Clemdog 39,389
Proved tonight how important he is to Rangers. Receives a lot of grief due to his defensive capabilities, which I accept to an extent. But quite often he can be very solid and offensively is very important. Two fantastic assists tonight and his relationship with Candeias is strengthening a previous weakness. I'm sure he can keep it up.
Geo17 1,388
He's been brilliant this season. Candeias has brought the best out in him.
mitre_mouldmaster 21,509
Im gonna give Pedro his dues on this one. Warburton would never have went out and brought in a workhorse of a winger to supplement Tav. He would have went out and tried to find another McKay who would never track back. MacBoyd 5,314
He's a really good player and his defensive side is improving. Gets alot of unfair stick but his quality shines through so often.
sandyinroyalblue 16,478
That wee bit of quality we were lacking in the final third was provided by Tavs and that as much as anything was the catalyst for the win.
Lloyd 10,756
2 Fantastic crosses, Last season his cross completion was awful but Pedro has done well in improving this.
STEPPS BOY 73,063
He has his moments defensively but what an outlet going forward. those crosses just need a touch to go in.
SeparateEntityMyArse 53,204
Thought he did well overall plus obviously 2 perfect crosses.

Not really swung in with pace but just really accurate.
TopCat 4,511
Thought he had a great game tonight and as others have said he provides some brilliant crosses that just need a tap in for the attacking player. Long may his form continue.
Laudrup1984 25,100
Totally agree. He makes some mistakes defensively but tell me a modern day full back who doesn't. Even elite full backs at the very top level make many mistakes. They merely have better players around them to compensate and cover. He is consistently one of our most potent attacking threats. Yes, he's not always perfect and can frustrate, but he never shirks his duties, never hides and he is very capable of producing real quality at times. Some of his crossing really is top drawer. He's scored and assisted so many goals over the last few years and that's not even counting the amount of chances he's put on plates for people to fuck up. Defensively he's also improved a lot IMO. Candeias helps massively too as have some of the acquisitions made over the summer. I think many have suggested that he would become better with better players around him and I think that has certainly benefited him, and us. Long may it continue.......... Jack The Flipper 5,936
was excellent tonight, i thought we defended far better tonight
Prso's headband 34,947
He's one of those players who has absolutely excelled with better players around him. He's class. Tell me a better RB in the league please. It isn't Logan or Lustig that's for sure
RangersMedia 35,961
It helps when you have guys in the team willing to run themselves into the ground to cover for you instead of the shitebags of last season
Mclean RFC 1,244
A long way to go for tav but he is vastly improved this year. And as somebody pointed out having candeas working that side of the pitch from the first kick to the last it really does get two birds with one stone. Defensively that side becomes more solid without losing the attacking threat, keep it up and he could reach the level hutton did in his last year for us. DrLaudrup 4,433
He is a player who has responded well to having better players around him. There is more movement and options. His passing tonight was a real feature of our performance.
siddiqi_drinker 14,635
He has always fired in good crosses like those tonight but rarely had anyone prepared to attack them at the rear post
KBOO72 4,322
He was good tonight, couple of quality deliveries but caught out defensively a few times aswell. His problem, along with the majority of the squad is that he isn't consistent enough though and I'm sure in the coming weeks he'll have a stinker. That's just the level of player we have at the moment. There's been a definite improvement on our right hand side with the addition of Candeias though, another who is a little hit and miss but his work rate and willingness to track runners and do the dirty work has helped Tav undoubtedly. We really need a similar partnership for the other side though because Windass is all miss and no hit imo.

rangersross 6,527
Could be to Warburton what Papac was to Le Guen.
SuperTav 970
Here here. There's glimpses of the confidence he had in the first division coming back. Long may it continue. mental how weak our left side has become in comparison. Hopefully Nemane can come in and link up with John.
scottyc06 6,902
His final ball has been well on the money this season, that's a few inch perfect crosses he's put in recently!
Andy 69
Right peg is a gift he will wrack up the assists this season
Blue Avenger 22,566
Credit to him tonight, but he remains one of our weakest links. It's alright doing his bit against shite, but let me know when he puts on a decent defensive performance agianst the scum. He needs to get his defensive game sorted. Until then, not good enough As for "brilliant", some need to get of the crack pipe ffs. Overall, we are in a much better place than last season. Good team performance and a 3 goal win away from, all day fucking long!

Good team performance and a 3 goal win away from, all day fucking long! So we'll ignore his assist against the scum last Season. Also, his solid defensive and offensive performance against them in the 1-1 game. (More to shout about against them than most, but I agree not enough). But really on topic, this thread was more about his performances this Season. He's been much improved, not sure why that's so hard to accept...
