Job done. Wasn't the best overall but points secured. Level on points and only 3 goals behind. That is achievable. Tavernier needs dropped. He was poor on Thursday but the overall team performance covered that up.

Poor today and confidence is shot.

I actually thought he done well in 2nd half

The negative posters when they realise we’ve won despite not playing well and they’ve got to wait another week before they can potentially dust off their laptops and rear their heads.

Nah they can  now direct all their anger towards Tavernier!

We were a much better side than Motherwell.. they did fuck all apart from the goal really. We didnt create all that much but saying we "got away with that today" is stretching it.

Exactly. Hardly vintage stuff but came back from going behind, controlled the match and won.

we could be glad of those 3 points in six months

Good result against a combative Motherwell side.

Once we get Jack back hopefully we'll see improvement from Arfield, though today showed Ojo might be a surprise replacement in there.

Just need to tweak the right hand side of midfield a bit to cover Tavernier better, and we're pretty strong all over.

Onward and Upward.

Nah it’s not, we were brutal today. I’m not annoyed at it because the fact we won when we’re playing shite is massive, last season as soon as the crowd turned we would have lost that match but the players are made of sterner stuff now.

We didn't test their keeper enough against a packed defence but we got the deserved win in the end.  At it again on Wednesday v Ross Country. No idea and don't care who the Tims play.

They play St. Mirren at the piggery.

We missed a penalty, a Defoe sitter. Could easily have been 4-1 ignoring many break aways we fucked up.

Motherwell were shit, scored a goal and that was it. We just didn't turn up.

But won and that’s the important part.

Better to play poor and win than lose unluckily after playing brilliantly

Find it quite depressing reading the comments that “although we played shite today we managed a win if it was last season we probably would have lost etc”.It’s just seems so tin pot mentality, this was against Motherwell at home that the sheep pumped at Fir Park last week.
