You're totally correct - this years is the same geometric design as the men's - and it's equally shite

Best of the English kits I've seen and it's (obv) the women's top (the men's is a geometric disaster), but this is really smart!

Interesting speaking to a lad at work today who was at the final - Italian parents, but born and brought up in Yorkshire. Said he had never experienced the type of aggressive behaviour he saw inside and around the ground - people coming up to them before and during the game (they were wearing Italian tops) and telling them to fuck off back to their own country. Said during  the whole game there were England fans coming over to them, getting in their faces and most of the comments were aggressively about them not being English and being in England.
Police advised them to stay in the ground an hour after (which I don't think was such a hardship after the way the game ended) but they got threatened a few times walking back to the tube an hour after the game. Said the contrast with the semi final was incredible - where Spanish and Italian fans were mixing throughout and everyone still together after the game with no trouble.
I definitely noticed it a bit at our game at Wembley the week before - the 'coming home' song really seems to have changed and its meaning does seem to have started to mean others can get to fuck. Rather than the original intent of the song, which was a bit more self deprecating. In saying that, at the Scotland game, we were mixed in beside English fans in the concourse and they were fine - maybe a wee bit arrogant and full of themselves but we didn't get any hassle leaving the ground, or before/after the game in pubs or around London. But I now wonder if that had anything to do with us not being seen as people from outside the UK?
Majority of England fans are decent football fans but the media driven hype seems to have created a bit of a feeling of entitlement with a big section of their support and I think a lot of the racism that seems to be bubbling up draws on that, fuelled by politicians and knuckle dragging media outlets like the Mail and Sun.
As for the crowd trouble at the game - really not surprised given the low key police presence for the Scotland game at Wembley and the majority of stewarding done by 'volunteers' who were more used to waving foam fingers about, with no clue what was going on, than potentially dealing with any crowd trouble - compared to crowd management at Ibrox or at any regular International match, it was amateur as fuck and potentially really dangerous if things had properly kicked off.

He didn’t cheat lol. He used his two decades experience in the game and took one of the best yellow cards you’ll ever see. It’s better than a goal in that situation.

Have never liked the guy Jordan much before, but he is absolutely spot on. Support your own country, and worry about how they play, what the rest do shouldn't matter
Folk obsessing about other teams in the tournament, other then their own, need watching

There are certainly people who go regularly who don't like Rangers - but to be honest, I would say amongst those who travel regularly to away games, there's more than enough Bears there to fight our corner. And we pretty much dislike the majority of teams they support, so it's the same for them. Plus, can't say club football gets discussed or brought up on most trips though I never make a secret of who I support.
Plus I'm of an age where I couldn't really give a fuck - leave that stuff to the youngsters

The inability to demonstrate basic writing skills brings shame and embarrassment on the Rangers support just as much as rioting in George Sq does imo.

Got tickets sorted yesterday for all three games - be a bit weird in a half filled Wembley, but looking forward to getting back into a ground in a few weeks. Five in our group, two with seasons in the Govan front (including mine), one at the Bridge and the other two are Jags fans. Still plenty Bears in the Scotland support despite the impression some want to give on here.
I reckon Paterson will start both games at Hampden, assume Clarke will go for a study team down in London, so could see O'Donnell starting there and Nathan only coming on if we go a few goals behind. Just delighted he's in the squad.
And folk saying it's a pish squad - there are key players from Arsenal, Liverpool, Man Utd, Southampton, Villa as well as promising young talent from Rangers and Chelsea. Probably one of the better squads we've had in years!!
Quite funny the amount of people drawn to this thread that claim to either not like/care about international football, or don't care about Scotland

As a long time Bears fan I can't get the smile off my face today!!
First time ever I've felt like we have a genuine chance to move out of QB hell with the move up for Justin Fields
Plus Rodgers might leave Green Bay, which would be the absolute icing on the cake!!

Appreciate he's not long here but can we get Simpson to fuck - we've conceded goals whenever he's played and he's an absolute fucking bombscare
Beyond that, I'm too angry with everyone (or indeed anyone) to contribute to any rational discussion on the squad - not one of them on the park today did themselves any favours, and to end the season, because that's it done now, like that, has me absolutely raging

Thought Christian Horner messed up letting Hamilton undercut Verstappen with the pit stop strategy - going to be close this year, but expect Mercedes to make adjustments to the car as we go forward, but get the feeling Honda can't do much more with the Red Bull.
Thought yesterday just proved Hamilton is by far and away the most talented driver out there, and without doubt, has the best winning mentality amongst all the top drivers!
