Beale would do well to make some big calls and send out a message that he has the balls to do what is right for the club
Retiring McGregor, Dropping Tav, moving Morelos on ASAP would be just the start
Sands should be sent back to his parent club, Lowry and McCann played more regularly….
aw man the list is endless

Morelos has always been a moody prick. Just his goals made up for it. Used to come alive in the Europa when he was getting a stage to whore himself out for a move. I don’t think he ever saw us as anything but a stepping stone and when he never got his big move he packed it in altogether.

Baffled by some of the comments on here. We are working hard against a stick in the mud Motherwell team. We have shown lots of flashes of good quality that were getting more frequent as the half went on. Have we gave the ball away; yes, but we have worked to get it back and this shows by the amount of posession.

Candeias was a good player for us.

I looked for highlight videos on YouTube and there are some great videos but they all have ear rape music backing them. So I settled for this little gem

Oh and I always loved this as well.
Clears the ball from the edge of his own box. Chases down his own clearance and then performs a mad back heel to set up Morelos. Loved that goal. 5m 20s in

Well since we are talking shite, here is my  contribution to stupid things to say.

Since 2012, Candeias is not in the bottom 50 players to have played for us and he might actually be in the top 50 of the best players to play for us.

Take that for a completely random made up statement with no justification

Tough one with Kent, he hasnt kicked a ball all season, if he turns it around now in his last 6 months of his contract then its probably only him that will benefit through his signing on fee elsewhere.
The way he celebrated the winner last night suggests he is emotionally invested in Rangers but he needs to put pen to paper.

FFS.. are people really so miserable??
a month ago we had GVB as the manager, we were on a downward spiral with no spark and no light at the end of the tunnel. Our players had all downed tools, we had no pattern to our play, we were dropping points to the absolute dross of the league.
In the last week we have gone out and played with intensity and purpose, we have a clear style of play that the players buy into. Many are reinvigorated and working harder than they have in months.
Despite an horrendous absentee list, which has left us with almost no defenders, we have eke'd out victories over the two teams sitting directly below us in 3rd and 4th.
Do we have problems? ... of course we do... are some players past it? Aye. Are some never good enough to begin with? Undoubtedly, but as I said when people were defending Gio, its about trend... we were trending downwards under GVB and in the last week we have shown signs of trending up. Could be a new manager bounce, might be early days to get carried away but all indications are positive and we should enjoy that while we can...
I have recently moved to Aberdeenshire for work and my wee boy gets grief every day at school for being a Rangers fan... I am absolutely elated for those 2 late goals last night and no one is going to piss on my chips today

Have you noticed that there is almost universal recognition on this forum that he was fault for the first goal and possibly should have done better at the second yet not a single media outlet or commentator seems to have mentioned it?
In fairness I don't listen to many of the analysis programs but I would have thought I would have heard it somewhere if a pundit had said "McGregor was at fault for both goals"
Is anyone saying it in the media?

He was running all over the place. He did a lung busting run back to try and chase an Aberdeen breakaway and then was back up the field.

His runs from midfield are his trade mark and that breaking of the lines is just as important as what Kent and Tillman do. It gives them someone to hit. He had two big. Janice’s before scoring his two and all 4 chances are created because of his runs and his anticipation.

Fair do's. its all about opinions. Mine is that we are in a much better place than we were a month ago in terms of getting a performance out of these players.
