This is fucking brilliant.  Our post match reaction thread and were talking about the fucking scum! 

Fuck sake thought match threads were cancer, buzzing for first game of season, come on here it its negative moany faced bastard surrender monkeys.

It’s mental to write off the likes of  Jones, Ojo or Hastie already because nobody knows how they are actually going to develop yet.  The likes of Halliday, Tav, Jack, Kent & Morelos all came on leaps and bounds last season under our management and coaching team. What’s to say they won’t do the same?

We now don’t have an out and out right winger which is what I think Gerrard wanted with ojo and Stewart with Hastie as a possibility too. Tav overlap the winger and the winger either cuts inside on stronger foot or plays tav in. Same as the left wing with jones and Murphy and possibly Kent if he’s back. This fits the 4-3-3 formation we play far more and we’ve seen already as with Sunday that jones and ojo played far more narrow with Barisic and tav encouraged to get forward as much as possible.
Time will tell if it’s the right decision but I think Gerrard’s plans aren’t affected much by this and I really do feel Candeias would have been used sparingly and probably on about 10k a week as well.

Another thing to remember is he's 31. Considering the way he plays once he loses a bit of pace he'll be done. We're actually selling him at bang on the right time. 

100% effort should be a minimun requirement for all footballers at our Club. We need more quality than he possesses and thats the gods honest truth.
He  got  lots more games  than he should have as we had little options on the right (grezda doesnt count!)  First real sign of competition and hes off. He tried his best but clearly not good enough in a creative sense to unlock defences where we really need that wee bit of extra quality. 

I have no issue with him as an individual. Always tried hard and behaved the way a Rangers player should. The reality of it is though we need to be improving. His return in terms of assists and especially goals was just not enough for a creative attacking player. Given his age and the time left on his contract it is a good deal for all concerned. 

Bit harsh on an earthworm mate. Get cut in half and regenerate their heed or tail...😎
