In Bilbao that weekend, which means I can pretend that I was absolutely desperate to go but couldn’t.
At £70 a ticket, I’m not that upset.

Any particular reason today?
The fact he’s still hampering us with the money he wasted on shite no longer here such as Lammers and Cifuentes, and shite that is still here such as Dessers, meaning Clement couldn’t get the players he wanted in January.
Also, his utter shambles of a preseason which means our players are now absolutely knackered and out of Europe because of it, and we’re only in a title race thanks to Clement being a miracle worker.
What a fucking cunt.

Interesting read, although at the end it says the sale of Abada is the most shameful thing to happen at celtic in their 137 year history. I can think of something I’d put ahead of it, but I agree with the overall point of that article

It’s frustrating because he did well for the vast majority of the game, but then he goes and does that.

What’s the McGregor one? He has some genuine nickname they use. I’d be using the search function and banning anyone on here that’s used that btw

If that's the 6.55pm flight from Gatwick I looked at that but couldn't make it work as I'm in Chancery Lane until 5.30pm. There's a flight the next morning out of Heathrow but need to try and see if I can switch my return London leg till after the game so I don't have to fork out for another flight home
Nah it’s the 16:30 one - I arrive into Gatwick at 8am so I’ve booked a lounge and will just work remotely there.
Got it for £300 in total which seems to be a good deal all things considered - the price went up by nearly £100 while I was booking it as well, cheeky bastards.
Heathrow flight is TAP I’m assuming? I also looked at them but it was just easier booking everything at once through the same carrier (easyJet/Dohop) rather than fiddling about on my phone like a maniac trying to get one booked after the other

A return of the late winners.
They're brutal but all it takes is a result like this to get them going again.
You say that, but they got a late winner against Hibs then immediately dropped points in the next league game.

Beale’s alt account:
He’d been Tweeting recently about how well “Beale” had done at Sunderland and Rangers and defending the job “Beale” had done. Also, all the account’s followers were younger coaches from Liverpool and Rangers from Beale’s stints there. It also followed a few Brazilian league accounts, Eredivisie, Belgian League, MLS etc.
Someone then dug this old tweet out from 2017, which is the nail in the coffin:
Fucking embarrassing

Just enjoying the football under PC now, and actually looking forward to going to Ibrox rather than dragging myself because of a sense of duty.

Within 20 minutes of that game you could see that Lammers, his big expensive signing who was meant to be the creative hub which the whole thing centred around, didn’t fancy it at all and you were instantly hit with a feeling that maybe Beale had fucked the whole thing…and it only got worse from there.
Sounds really defeatist and like a complete exaggeration, but that opening game was so telling that whatever his grand plan was, it just wasn’t going to work.
I’m generally an optimist, but during that Killie game I had a horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach that Beale had totally messed up the summer rebuild and wasn’t up to it. Even in the pre-season games something wasn’t right, but I think most of us tried to reason that the new players were still gelling.
The first OF just confirmed our worst fears - the moment Beale subbed off Roofe for Lammers when we were desperately trying to get a goal, the collective anger from the entire crowd of “this cunt hasn’t got a fucking clue” was deafening. As David Edgar says, that was the moment the vast majority of fans turned on him and there was no coming back.
It’s honestly unbelievable how shite I felt coming home from Cyprus in October, convinced we weren’t winning anything, to having a League Cup in the cabinet, reaching the Europa League last 16 and being in a genuine title race by February.
Clement is a miracle worker.

A defeat
To relegation-threatened Huddersfield, no less.
I wonder if he sees where we are now compared to where he left us, and if he has any kind of self-reflection on his managerial abilities.
Haha, who am I kidding - he’s probably taking credit for the position we’re in now.
