So the fact that the SFA have agreed to postpone the Cup game if there is a breakout surely tells you that there is a very real risk of cross infection this evening.

Exactly, the fuss being made over Bitons stonewall red card is a shambles, no mention of Duffy tackle or Eduoard not being cited though and if Gerrard had said what Lennon said about the referee he’d 100% be up on a charge.

Seeing that again in slowmo thats a penalty. His left leg slides over the top of the ball and takes out Roofe. He only brings the ball under control after that with his right foot. Clear penalty in hindsight.

    And only 36 too
Ally McCoist said on Premier Sports: "I'm absolutely shattered.
"I just can't believe it's happened. A young man, 36, I think his wife just had a baby early on in the year there.
"We're here enjoying a game of football but that just hits home. It's absolutely tragic, tragic news.
"We're all genuinely upset and our thoughts are obviously with his wife and family."

Some people may not care .At this moment ,we may even feel comfortable because of their present situation .
In 1998 we had around  a 10 point lead and blew it .Yes there was circumstances, as we were on our history making quadrupole trophy run .
If we don’t stop 10 this year ,after 9 years of the worst football ,I’ve witnessed in my entire life watching  Rangers .For me ,next season and the next would not even be worth bothering about .

The club is an embarrassment over this.
That other mob defend their fans to the hilt no matter what yer ours wants to throw the book at people over one incident where nothing has even been proved or disproved.
Shambless and those fans who have been banned deserve the clubs backing as they have backed us over the years.

THE widespread condemnation which followed Wigan chairman Dave Whelan’s alleged racist and anti-Semitic outburst last week was understandable.
His Alf Garnett-esque comments in the wake of appointing Malky Mackay manager added to the outrage .
Mackay is subject to an FA probe, investigating texts and emails of a racist, sexist and homophobic nature.
The anti-discriminatory bodies didn’t miss Whelan who could now find himself in the dock alongside his manager.
Football Against Racism in Europe were among the many campaign groups who, quite rightly, took the pair to task.
Yet where was the outcry from bodies such as FARE when this month Aleksandar Tonev was hit with a seven-game ban by the SFA for racist conduct?
The celtic midfielder was found guilty by an independent tribunal of abusing Aberdeen’s Shay Logan, reportedly calling him a “f*****g black c***.’
What happened to showing racism the red card?
There was not so much as a yellow from their executive director Piara Powar who is also on FIFA’s anti-racism task force.
Surely if you are the head of an organisation which vows to fight all forms of racism you cannot pick and choose which abhorrent acts to condemn.
And while not for one minute playing down the severity of Mackay and Whelan referring to Chinese people as “Chinks” surely, on a sliding scale, calling a fellow professional a “black c***” is far more offensive?
When John Terry and Luis Suarez were found guilty of similar racist offences Powar and his colleagues couldn’t have been any more critical.
Yet not a word when Tonev was found guilty of “excessive misconduct by the use of offensive, insulting and abusive language of a racist nature”.
Regardless of the fact no hard evidence was presented – it was one Aberdeen’s word against celtic’s – the case against Tonev was proved.
Last year former Rangers chief executive Charles Green was fined by the SFA for “offensive and racist comments” in an interview that referred to former Ibrox commercial director Imran Ahmad.
celtic striker Leigh Griffiths also has a racism charge hanging over his head after being caught on camera singing inappropriate songs along with fellow Hibs supporters.
Again this seems unworthy of FARE’s intervention.
Powar’s name may be familiar to Rangers fans as his organisation was forced to deny claims of a “deliberate and targeted campaign” against the Ibrox club three years ago.
Rangers were disciplined, and correctly so, by UEFA after it emerged supporters sang sectarian songs during the home and away Europa League clashes with PSV Eindhoven.
On both occasions they were reported on the basis of submissions from FARE, rather than the UEFA match delegate.
At the time Powar said: “There are explicit suggestions emanating from Rangers FC of ‘a deliberate and targeted campaign against the club’.
“The FARE network is focused only on our core mission of tackling discrimination in football and encouraging social inclusion through the game. We have no axe to grind with any club.”
In 1999 Rangers defender Lorenzo Amoruso racially abused Nigerian striker Victor Ipkeba during a European clash with Borussia Dortmund.
Again the incident was not included in the UEFA delegate’s report but Powar, then with anti-racism group Kick it Out, demanded it be investigated.
Fast forward to 2013 and former celtic player Paul Elliot had to resign from his positions within the FA and Kick it Out after he branded ex-Charlton defender Richard Rufus a “n****r” in a text conversation.
Powar was quick to Elliot’s defence insisting: “I can understand the concern over the use of the n-word, whoever uses it, in whichever context.
“However, I cannot accept it is racist to use it between two friends and business colleagues in a private text.
“Racism and other forms of discrimination are not simply about words. It may be difficult for some to accept the difference between those words used with discriminatory intent and those that are not.”
But when the League Managers Association misguidedly dismissed Mackay’s comments, which were also sent by text and email, as friendly banter Powar’s private text argument suddenly didn’t hold water.
He tweeted: “Wow! The LMA defending the indefensible. Why would you put out something so utterly ridiculous? Because you haven’t a clue.”
Now this is not about Rangers and celtic but about what is fair and what isn’t.
And when it comes to removing the ugly stain of racism it would seem FARE is not always FAIR.

Seriously, what an absolute disgrace that board is! Get them to fuck!
The overwhelming majority accepted that we had to alter what we sing following the decision from UEFA to close part of the ground & agreed to kick out those songs in Europe!
Now we are facing a second charge for something that happened before we had even got our first charge???? Not buying that! They fuckers have known about this before last Thursday, failed to act on it & have now went to UEFA with a solution of accepting no tickets for our next away game, why?! Why are they not allowing them to provide us with a punishment?! 100% an attempt to save face because they have fucked it for the fans by not bringing the charge to our attention before we have racked up a 2nd charge!!
They also have the absolute brass neck to fully come out and put the blame on those in BF1, despite there being much more than them singing that night!
All this in our most important season since we went for 10IAR! Self preservation over the good of the club, exactly what they were fighting against to get control of the club!
    Fuck them!

What "songs"?  We all knew about TBB controversy, not anything else, unless you are advocating to stop all loyalists songs?
The board were given notice of the complaint on matchday 5 weeks ago, so not very bright of them to sit on it and possibly expose us to further sanction.
In a nusthell, the board yet again fail to provide ant clarity on what is unacceptable. Is it the words and what words, or is it whole songs?
To add they yet again fail spectacularly to defend the club and it's fans. Just bend over and throw us all under a bus as racists with condescending shite that a five year could have written. They have no strategy to protect the brand and continually fail to protect or enhance the reputation of this great institution or it's fans as we are unjustifiably demonised by all comers week on week and stay stoom on the double standards at play.
Communications and PR amongst others are not competencies that ths board are blessed with, bordering on neglect as the record shows. Add the the disputes with SDI that are costing us a fortune along with the reputational damage, we have a full house.
It would not have been difficult to warn us off 5 weeks ago when they received the complant and whilst we may have been gulty in singing bad words or songs, they are neglectful in the manner they are runnng this club. If we get further sanction because they stayed stoom, the blame lies firmly at their door.
Their governance of this club is simply fucking amateur night of the proms and they want to take a long hard look in the mirror for the incompetents that they are, but they won't, such is their arrogance.
We can can change words and maybe even drop of few songs, so I await with quite some intrepidation on them providing the clarity and their strategy in defending the the reputation and traditions of this great institution and laying waste to the double standards before us, but they won't being the cowardly incompetentsthat they are.
Their silence, their lack of defending the club also works against Stevie and the team far less the fans and failure to land the title this season will see them fall on their own sword and hunted as they justifiably deserve.
Boards will come and go, but the fans are here forever. Without us there is no club and this board should know that better than most.
Time they showed some respect and good transparent and effective governance, otherwise they can fuck off, not anyone else.
