I like it and have pretty much had it on repeat today. The nerves are truly kicking in now and i want nothing more than Tav to lift that trophy. This song is a nice wee soundtrack for that.

Is it possible that we took him out of the team so that he wasn't in the limelight for other teams to poach when his contract was running down?

Off the top of my head he 100% missed the disasterclass at parkhead. And I think the other two were livi at home and the Ross county 3-3 game, don’t know how much of a difference he would’ve made those two games we dropped points. Aye that has been dreadful this season just of the top of my head I think it’s around 13 points dropped from winning positions. Anyway fuck it win next Wednesday and that eclipses any achievement in Scottish football ever and the 2021/22 season will be remembered for that.
I think Morelos missed around 5 games or so in that period. Roofe was just coming back from injury which isn't ideal as he always needs a few games or so to get up to speed. We were absolutely toothless up front in that spell and it is only recently since Alfie got injured that we are now managing to be able to play and score without him.

Don't really buy into the narrative of the Old Firm at the new year getting shifted was what lost us the league. Can't really moan about it, I might be wrong but I think every team voted for it bar us. The tims took advantage of it by bringing in a few players.
If your looking solely on the league campaign for me anyway It's hard to argue against our own inconsistency being the major factor in us not retaining it, well that, individual mistakes and an annoying level of consistency they found. As other posters have said you'll struggle to win the league if you drop points to Motherwell at home twice, Aberdeen twice, Hearts in the dying minutes of the game, Dundee United twice, Ross County and that's before you even look at a result against them. Individual mistakes have cost us as well but would take a while looking through all of them.
In no way happy about losing the league this season but not as angry as I thought I would be and there's a obvious reason, a week today. In seven days we can achieve the unimaginable. The way I look at it is the way football is set up now a team from our league isn't meant to get this far in Europe never mind being in touching distance of glory, this could be backed up by UEFA bringing in a third competition just for the smaller nations to get more European football. But this team are on the brink, the brink of creating history that will live with us for the rest of our lives, a chance to join the Barca Bears of 72'. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine we'd win a European trophy in my lifetime and they are so close.
They made us dream and they're so close to making it a reality.
If i remember right, the break being brought forward meant that Morelos then missed a bunch of games when we restarted. We then struggled up front during this period which led to probably our poorest period in the league. There have been other times where we have blown in from winning positions, Ross County (3-3) and Motherwell (2-2) come to mind.

I see the outrage is still in full flow in the media over jokes at the Scottish Football awards. Does anyone know what the actual quotes are?

I could be wrong but the beamback sounds like a gimmick to me. Was there not issues with the 2008 beamback where it was difficult to see the screen due to the distance and also glare? Add in queuing and not being able to get a drink in the stadium etc it just sounds like a hassle so I would rather watch it in the pub with a group of mates.

Mental stuff.
If we have played no one to get this far then how come they couldn't get a good run going in three European tournaments?

Great news! Wonder if the Europa win's freed up a bit of extra cash to increase contract offers (hopefully the Goldson rumours are true too!).
What's the rumour?

Mental to think that he was at Rangers for nearly 1/4 of our club's history.

Gutted to hear this news and feel sorry for him, his family and the team. Did he work the game at the weekend there? I can imagine the mood in the dressing room will be down but hopefully the players can put in a performance on Thursday that Jimmy would be proud of.

McCoist knew the Scottish market inside out.
We ended up with Sebastian Faure and Cribari.
To balance that out we also got some amazing Scottish based talent with the likes of Daly, Law and Bell.

He has missed almost as many games as he has played - missed 56 v played 60
He is reliable when on the field but that's a poor return and can't be depended on to be a key CB going forward.

He has been with us for 3 seasons now? It would be interesting to know how many appearances he has made out of the total number of games.

Does anyone know of a blog or anywhere else that has an up to date bullet point style summary on the celtic abuse scandal?

Masvidal is fucking honking man 😅 knocked out Darren till no big deal, his knock out of Ben askren was clearly impressive but lucky/freakish imo (I know he said he was planning on it for a good while), a doctors stoppage for a cut against Nate Diaz.. not an overly impressive run, battered twice by Usman since them and an inevitable loss to Covington.. even his fights prior to the Till KO he got battered by Stephen Thompson and Damian Maia, bewildering how there’s hype around the guy
Would probably like to see a rematch with Diaz just for the sake it should be a good scrap
His new 5 fight contract apparently puts him as the 3rd highest paid fighter behind 1.McGregor and 2.Adesanya.

Not blaming him but I don't think he brings much to MMA. He's as one dimensional as they come.
He had zero skill set to deal with a grappler.
I am not really a fan of Masvidal. He had a decent run with the Till KO, Askren KO and then the joke BMF belt. This has put him on the casual fans radar. He's now got a 5 fight deal that makes him one of the higher paid fighters which I think is mental but fair enough, well done to him for making the most of the opportunity.
Where to go after the match
