If Gio had our team playing with pace and being direct I reckon we'd be giving this CL a far better go.
Unfortunately he's created a massively negative and defesive team that still ships goals for fun.

They have better individuals, that's a gimmi. The thing disappointing me the most is the fight or lack of fight in our players. You can see them making 10 yards sprints to get to a man or going in full blooded but that's what you should be getting from the underdog, us. 
Afraid this starts from the manager shiting the bed with that formation which has passed into the players. Go and fucking meet them. 
None of the "senior players" have showed up here.

When are our players and managers (Including Gerrard btw) going to get it into their thick skulls that when you score an early goal, you go for the throat and finish the game off.
We score then do fuck all inviting pressure and the inevitable equaliser.

Interesting stat reported on H&H that Rangers attempted 20 tackles and had 21 fouls against us (work that one out), whereas Aberdeen had 30 tackles and 7 fouls awarded. He’s no biased though.

We got Kamara and Davis on and he puts on Jack when we need two goals to take it to extra time.
