Warburton can't be blamed for this. You're lying if you say you weren't excited when we signed him. It just didn't work out due to injuries, shame he never got the chance to properly develop. Wish him well.

Everyone seems excited by the signing of Aribo.  Docherty is the same age, scored the same amount of goals last season in the same league, got more assists and this was playing for a team battling relegation instead of chasing promotion. Should definitely be given a chance. 

Tav hasn’t been poor defensively ages now. He was outstanding at the back last season. Anyone who watches our games regularly would know that. Some fans just love to repeat opinions they’ve heard on the radio or read in the papers and pedal it as fact, for whatever reason. 

I don’t think Barasic has been that bad. Seems like Stevie G throwing him under a bus has turned everyone against him. The narrative is such a big influence on some of our fan base. 
Clyde 1 constantly pedal the myth that Tav can’t defend, and half our fans believe it, whereas if you actual watch the games properly or look at the stats it tells a totally different story. 
If Gerrard hadn’t done it, think more would be giving him the benefit of the doubt. 

Seems to but doing well in the defensive stats for someone people in here claim can't defend.

Was seething about signing a player at that stage of their career. Turned out to be immense. FFS he was one of the biggest factors for us getting to a European final. Insane.

People seriously seriously underestimate how much he gives us. Keep him for one more season. If he's worth 8-10 million now and has one more good season and helps us win the title, I guarantee you we can sell him for more than 8-10 next year. 
How are we going to replace his goals? You can see how toothless we are without him in attack i.e. the last game of the season against Kilmarnock.
And for anyone saying we can replace him easily.
We've been through 3 left backs in the last season Barisic, Flanagan, Halliday and none of them come close.
A back 4 including Halliday at LB and Flanagan at RB won't win us games. Neither get past the half way line.

Seriously? Murty showed the fans total disrespect by hugging the celtic manager after we had been absolutely slaughtered by them. It could have been 10 goals against us that day. I was glad that at least somebody had the balls to show some passion and have a go at the way we played. It was a joke. Lee Wallace could have fkd off with the rest of the rats and still had an international career but he gave the club and fans much needed stability in our darkest hour (regardless of his reasons for staying). He has been treated disgracefully by our club IMHO.

Candeias was our POTY last season.  This year he has 6 goals and 13 assists.  His contribution going forward has been good (5 goals and 5 assists in the league; 2 assists and 1 goal in the Europa).  One of his best attributes is his tireless pressing of opposition defenders and I’m convinced he must have one of the highest rates of interceptions in the SPFL (maybe someone can find the stats on that?).  That pressing is key to the way we play and the success we’ve had.  He leaves nothing on the pitch and is always 100% committed to the cause.  He’s not been “shit” by any means.
Having said that, we do need an alternative option in the form of an inside forward.  Jake Hastie will give us that and I’m delighted we got that young guy.  

Just came online and once again an over reaction to a piss poor performance by everyone. Whoever said he is inconsitent is wrong. Gerrard has said often , he is the one player he can rely on. Can we do better in the off season? Yes. but Ryan Jack is the least of our problems

I think people are being really harsh. He does a lot of work off the ball and I think he is actually one of our key players. Nobody covered themselves in glory today but it looked like the team had already packed up for their holidays.

I remember, following the away leg (bearing in mind his age and restricted appearances through injury) he fronted the televised post game press interview at the side of the pitch. A truly terrible night and result but the lad showed character and strength to stand up and do this when it should have been the responsibility of a senior player if not the captain. He is a talented lad who I believe (should he now remain serious injury free) will progress in to a highly thought of good player be that with us or if/ when he moves on. Genuinely hope he makes this progression by coming back to Rangers...
