It was the Todd show at times when it should have been a team show. His body language went and should have been swapped. Losing the goal within 90 seconds of the restart gave them the match.
He has a very high opinion of himself

Don't see it.
If VAR had told Clancy to go to the monitor, they would have checked for offside as well.
You are missing the point. The fact that ref and var did not see that as penalty is the issue. If they did then they would have said "off side free kick to ra sellick". The offside was a lucky get out.

Funnily enough Id have put lammers on to draw fouls around the box. He is generally shite but he has quick feet and they had a few players on yellows.
Not with these officials he wouldn't.

We can moan all we want about cheating officials - in the end though the usual suspects plus lack of a striker who actually know how to score has cost us that game. Games in hand can take us back to two points but every fucking time we have a chance to strangle these bastards we fuck it up.

fucking hell. see these fucking refs and VAR
Thing is we need the var cause I promise you decisions going against us would be worse without it. It needs to start being used as intended however. Only serious obvious mistakes by ref.

Nervous about tav taking this.

Definitely a lot of unfit players in our squad. Tiredness kicking in so early.

Such a good feeling going to a game and enjoying it. Could see within 10 minutes how he wants us to press and how he wants us to play. Can only see us getting better.
Delighted for Dessers, he deserved a goal today.
The difference in quality when Cantwell came on was obvious to see. Can see Clement using him where Lammers was today in bigger games but could equally see him playing wide and drift inside with the lack of wide options we have which would allow 2 strikers to play.
Agreed. Leaves me asking what the fuck was beale on??

They were talking on Open Goal about him being moved in to midfield, which might not be the worst idea as he gets older. He rarely makes any runs from deep these days anyway.
Fuck same. Had the same discussion years ago about sticking hodson behind him.

Forgot all about Dowell tbh. What's the story with him?
Was having a lovely expensive lunch at gleneagles a few weeks ago. Other than that fuck knows.

Great point, imagine his stats if he didn't take every dead ball.
Tackles won-0
Headers won-0
Completed passes 25%
Corners contributing to a goal- 3%
Defended missed tackles-82%
Lessons will be learned quotes-91%
Am I blagging it-100%
Yup. Flattered to deceive.

I was at the Hamilton game before Covid when Gerrard was a baw hair from the sack and Tavernier was sauntering back that day when he lost the ball going forward, he absolutely chucked it then too. I remember vividly saying to my brother about it that day and he has done the same in recent weeks. When chips are down, he hides like fuck, poor poor attitude. He’ll learn from it though.
He has played a clever game. Get to position where he takes the penalties. Set pieces etc.
Makes his contribution look better.
Does not do the hard stuff like getting to the by line.

i dont understand why Davis didnt make earlier, and more changes. Not sure its a good idea having him as interim manager as hes way too close to players who keep letting is down. I cant see Davis dropping Tav etc...
Think he is there cause we like him and will not turn against him quick. Buys time to get the new guy in (god fucking help him and us)
-
Note how little we shot tonight. Neither are we getting to the by line enough to turn defenders.
Just the same old diagonal ball from barely a third into opposition half. Rinsed and repeated.
Yet no one has the gumption to try to add more to our game.

I miss sakala, no one in this squad currently looks like they can beat a player
That is the core of it for me. Trying to pass around teams. Don't have the movement for that tho.

The desire to ball watch and not move to get it is firmly ingrained in us.

It says they play in different positions
Not saying they play in the same positions. In case of usefulness to the team and ability to perform each players assigned task?

Sima and Lammers, Sima especially, have shown flashes that there could be players in there if they were coached, managed and deployed by a manager that knows what he is doing.
Cifuentes looks nothing like the dynamic box to box midfielder that we had expected. Again this may well be down to how he's being used.
Dessers is just awful. Not one redeeming quality whatsoever.
Cif is not being used box to box. Is being use to cover tav. That needs to change.

Among the many, many, many problems today, and in general, the one thing that always baffles me more than anything is the role of Cifuentes.
Did we honestly chase him all summer just to effectively cover an aging Tav to slowly get up and down the wing to deliver, if you're lucky, 1 decent cross in about 10?
It's absolutely mind boggling.
And going further than that, after the defence and Jack/Lundstram, you'd be doing well to figure out the roles of Cifuentes onwards.
Cifuentes - cover an aging full back
Lammers - no clue
Sima - no clue
Dessers - what is he doing?
A disorganised mess with a clueless conductor.
2nd paragraph is spot on. Would say our whole system is arranged to cover tav however.

Jeez this is a question and a half.
Suppose it depends if Beales recruitment has actually been good but he just can't get a tune out of them or it is just poor, if it's poor then we're saddled with a whole new look squad who just aren't good enough, that could take a long time to change, if the players are actually decent then a good manager will get a tune out of them pretty sharpish.
It's also notworthy to highlight Beale has a 72% win record, that would suggest we have players to win games of football on a consistent basis, so if we can get a manager in that can get a tune out the team in Old Firm games then it's not beyond the realms of possibility we can turn it around pretty quickly.
Cantwell, Denilo, Roofe and Lawrence are huge for us in terms of attacking options, without them it's a slog, as much as Beale bores me to tears, I'm not sure what manager we could attract that would've navigated through that.
All these players can't be shite. Ffs was dessers not highest score in his league or something one year? This is a management problem thru:
1. Have alternative systems when needed eg three at back. Don't just rely on a narrow 433 type that has been sussed.
2. Ditch connections with the era of failure. For me that's tav , goldson, barisic.

Would need to know the format but I would hope there is a checksum in that metadata that is constructed from the pertinent information such as date and time, duration, the a tual audio information recorded. If any of that is altered then the checksum would not calculate correctly. Assuming it is digitally recorded and not old audio tape. Will do some research for mp3 and mp4 formats.
