Middle three is the problem for me. Arfield best used as a sub. Lunstrum tho off form is best we have there. I think kamara is a bad choice as well.

The problem is he is so high maintenance to manage. So give him time to get fit , he MAY just do that. He may not though. Not a sound risk to take for what will be another temporary, fleeting good spell if at all. We need to move on from Alfie, tav, the unfit guys etc. Lower the average age of the team as well.

This. I for one am fucking sick of it. The thing is tho I have felt the above was our approach since Warburton for lengthy periods( champions season aside).. Very little threat comes through the middle, we don't soak up pressure and break. We all know that when matondo or whoever gets to break he will stop about a third into the opposition half and its back to fancying about across our back line.

Like everyone else I was pissed of with performance yesterday. I never gave thought to demanding game midweek however.taking that into account and fact we could have put game to bed early. Feeling much more optimistic.

Agreed. Tonight is not the sore one for me. That was Saturday.
Although there is incredible weakness and lethargy in our play now. The management team need to make changes (even small ones) to give players perception that things should be better.
The young guys are the obvious change for me.
