GersInCanada got a reaction from BuckhindLoyal in Morelos
Both Kent and Morelos have run their race and ought to be moved on. My fear is that they are planning on doing a 'Goldson' and resigning in the summer if nothing better turns up.
As part of the refresh/rebuild they both have to go.

I won't give up on Matondo just yet. Could be a decent player there.
Cantwell and Raskin both look more than decent and that increases my confidence in Beale as a manager who knows a player when he sees one.
3 points and 5 goals so I cant complain but I will anyway. Defense remains a joke.

You are of course entitled to think and do what you want.. But I would urge you to remember how lucky you are to have the chance to go to every game. For us overseas bears its Rangers TV, which gets you the game, but nothing beats walking up to Ibrox to see Rangers. Remember how lucky you are even though this season hasnt gone like we all wanted it to.

No problem with the board approaching him. No problem with him saying not interested.
But when he putts the phone down and then leaks it to the press. That I have a problem with. Looks to me that we dodged a bullet here.

Seems pretty reasonable to have someone who pulls together the first team, the academy, the medical department, scouting, analytics, etc. given how disparate those departments and skillsets are. The fact we've had the wrong people doing it doesn't invalidate the role.

If it's a loan with the option to buy then I am onboard.

GersInCanada got a reaction from The No.9 in Cantwell
I am happy with what I have seen of Cantwell thus far. But like Raskin it's next season before either can be properly judged.

GersInCanada got a reaction from falkirkNS in SFA statement
There is a line in the sand where if refs cross it they have moved from the incompetent to the corrupt. Clancy has crossed that line and did so with a smile.
His employers will protect their part time employee. Nothing surer.

I am not a bean counter but a cursory glance at the report shows income up and losses well down. Sounds like progress to me.
We have people with a solid business background running the club which has not always been the case in recent times. If they are content with the numbers then so am I. Almost certainly safe to ignore some social media ramblings.

GersInCanada got a reaction from cstamomusa in Kevin Clancy
Were we, as a board, to come out with a statement that we will no longer accept Clancy as a ref then we are on a slippery slope. Who's next...Beaton ??
I would argue that tackling the problem at it's source which is the SFA is the way forward. An end to 'well intentioned amateurs' and a clear demand for professional refs will win us some support from other clubs.

If the Alfredo incident had happened at the other end of the pitch then the goal stands and quite rightly.
Clancy just could not stand the thought of us being 1 up after 20 minutes or so. End of story.

GersInCanada reacted to SeparateEntityMyArse in Kevin Clancy
Both were holding. Johnston was trying to get to the ball and his body weight was all wrong. He effectively fell/ twisted forward and missed the ball. Morelos had his hand up which would have prevented Johnston coming into the space he wanted, and used, to score.
Morelos didn't use anywhere near the force needed to push Johnston or cause him to fall or vacate the space in front of Morelos. It was 100% a legitimate goal.
I agree with the point on var as there was no element of it Clamcy didn't see. He's a cheating bastard and saw what he wanted to see.
Some on here think if anything it was a foul to us. I just believe it was almost a nothing incident that happens dozens of times at set plays and the only reason it was chalked off was cos it was us scoring it. Like in the 2-1 win years back, identical incidents had different outcomes- I've no doubt whatsoever Clancy would have given that at the other end.

Cannot fault our effort. Terrible decision to chalk off Alfies goal.
We can still win this.
