We need to blow up the roster in summer because this team as past the end of it's cycle. The problem is that most of our assets don't have much left on their contracts and if we don't win the league ( and I don't think we will) we have to rebuild on a shoestring whilst they pocket 40 million quid by entry into the Champions League based on a coefficient that we've propped up for years. I still think a lot of people underestimate the potential consequences of losing this title. 
What we do in the short term to start picking up results, I do not know. I'm sickened with it tbh. The Dortmund results mean fuck all when we drop 4 points that would have taken us to the top of the table in the space of a week. I'd happily give those results in Europe away for those 4 points. We've absolutely fucked this and I'm disgusted with it.

Still astounds me when you read posts on here from people not caring about Europe.
I get annoyed at losing friendlies fs. 

This season was always the bigger season for the club as a whole when it became clear CL was guaranteed for the winner, not necessarily the fan’s perspective. 
 
If we don’t win this title it’ll set the club back 4-5 years. 
 
If we didn’t win last season’s title, this generation of fans would’ve never heard the end of 10 in a row as it’s something that would’ve never been done in any our lifetimes. 

And if we set up purely not to lose against their style of relentless attack and our defence having more bombscares than the 2nd world war then it’s only going one way.
