We really need a win here so I'd go for a 4-4-2:

:mcgregor:

:whittaker: :weir: :wilson: :papac:

:novo: :davis: :thomson: :rothen:

:boyd: :miller:

Think rothen deserves another chance, one bad game should not be enough to push him out of the team. Naismith has been rank recently and should be dropped, I'd rather see Beasley or Fleck out there ahead of him. Love to see wee Novo out on the right as we go looking for the win that we need, very few people in the team with any pace now and I think he'd be a welcome addition.

PS Bougherra at right back and Whittaker on the wing? Hardly think this is the right time to start reshuffling our whole team.

Kris Boyd and Danny Wilson must start!

Some may not want Madjid Bougherra in the team, but we need our best players, and if he's available, then he should start. Thought he was impressive at RB for Algeria, and would like to see him play there so Weir and Wilson can play in the center, with Whittaker, who is a bit of a liability on the defensive side, pushing into midfield.

100% agree with this team. Bougherra should play, but Wilson should not be dropped, so RB for boogie (tu)

Would agree with that team and agree that Boyd must play, one of his best performances on saturday there and with walter taking him off with miller with around 25 mins to go gives me more hope that he will start. Would also be good to see how bougherra plays at right back too and also at this level of football.

I'd go for a 4-4-1-1. Keep two banks of 4 and keep it tight but also have more going forward btu when we don't have the ball make it a midfield 5.

I don't see Madjid Bougherra playing. Think he'll start on the bench.

:whittaker: :weir: :wilson: :papac:

:davis: :mcculloch: :thomson: :lafferty: or :novo:

Can't see anything other than this team. Unless Stevie Smith is brought in to the left side of midfield to offer a bit of defensive cover?

ROBERTO ROSSETTI, the referee who denied Scotland captain Darren Fletcher a place in last year's Champions League Final, will take charge of Rangers' crucial clash with Stuttgart tomorow night.

Rossetti came under fire when he issued a straight red card to Fletcher for a challenge oin Cesc Fabregas in the second leg of Manchester United's semi-final with Arsenal.

TV pictures showed that he had won the ball first and the decision seemed very harsh but there was no right of appeal and Fletcher missed out io the Final which Man Utd lost to Barcelona.

Rossetti, however, is one of the highest-ranked officials in the game. Indeed he was voted the best referee in the world in 2008 by one body.

The Italian has been been involved in the Champions League for the last five seasons and has handled many of the top teams including Liverpool, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Barcelona.

He handled Stuttgart earlier this season when they qualified for the Group Phase by defeating Romanians Timosoara. He took charge of the goal-less second leg.

Last week he was in charge of the Bosnia-Portugal World Cup play-off match. His assistant was attacked by local fans when Rossetti sent off Bosnian Sejad Salihovic.

To be honest, totally surprised to see this line-up from you Muff, but totally agree with these players starting and your reasons why.

I think we may see;

:mcgregor:

:whittaker: :weir: :wilson: :papac:

:mcculloch:

:Naismith: :davis: :thomson: :lafferty:

:miller:

Kyle Lafferty doesn't deserve to start, especially out wide, and if we go with Kenny Miller in the lone role, then we are just plauying into Stuttgart's hands.

IMO Kyle Lafferty's inept performances have pushed him so far down the pecking order. If only someone came in and bid for him in January.

If Boyd starts it will surely mean a 4-4-2. We need to attack Stuttgart and sitting off them in a 4-5-1 for 90 minutes will be torture!

Unfortunatley I don't see anyone showing any interest in Kyle Lafferty.

He's not very good, and the money we'd want would put clubs off him. We'll be stuck with him :anguish:

The big players have to step up tonight

Davis and Thomson must not hide

Miller needs to turn in an Old Firm performance

Weir has to be solid

Whittaker must defend well

Papac also

And feed the Boyd and he will score!
