Rapid are fucking about here. They don't want to sell him and they are taking us along for the ride. It has went from Monday or Tuesday to Wednesday and now we hear it will be Thursday before we hear anything.

Martin Bain should get onto them and tell them to make up their fucking mind if they are going to sell him because our season starts in 10 days and we have waited enough for these Austrian fucks to give us an answer!

Also, why would McCoist apparently be out in Austria trying to do a deal?

I think they are hoping that someone makes a better offer, otherwise they will reluctantly accept ours. The delay is to hope that everton make a move

Im siding with you on this one, they can delay this as much as they want. The only thing they have to risk is upsetting the player, but he doesn't seem the type to have the 'toys out the pram attitude'.

Might be too positive, but this delaying might be quite a good sign. As of yet Everton are the only other main team that has been linked in the media. We know Everton have alot of forwards and signed a few this close season. Also, they are not a team who spend alot of money.

If our offer had been far off what they wanted, we would of been told straight away. They are holding out for a bigger offer, and maybe if it doesn't come in the next few days, they will just have to accept ours?

Rapid Sport director Hoertnagel won't confirm on any of the transfer speculation ' theres nothing concrete on the table for us to deal with'

and Jelavic isn't allowed to comment on the situation

that was a statement made after the match last night

From what I have seen on Jelavic he seems to be a goalscorer who is very good in the air but I feel people are overhyping him based on Youtube footage and two goals against some team called Beroe.

Frustrating for us fans and the longer this drags on the less likely the move becomes. Its also dangerous because we may miss out on other targets whilst we are waiting to hear about Jelavic.

Its looking increasingly likely that we'll be facing Killie with the same old same old?

Rapid Vienna say there will be no decision on Wednesday on the future of striker Nikica Jelavic.

Rangers had hoped to find out if their bid had been accepted for the Croatian international forward.

The 24-year-old scored twice in Tuesday's Europa League 3-0 qualifying win over the Bulgarian side Beroe.

A Rapid spokesman told BBC Scotland: "There will be no outcome today as our sporting director will not be back until tomorrow."

He added: "This will be discussed at a board meeting tomorrow morning."

Rapid Vienna say they have yet to receive any realistic offers for Croatia striker Nikica Jelavic amid interest from Rangers.

Jelavic, who scored twice for Rapid in their Europa League qualifier against Beroe on Tuesday, said this week that he was eager to seal a move to Ibrox.

However, Rapid's sporting director, Alfred Hortnagl, has now suggested he does not expect to sell Jelavic, 24, as he has yet to receive a satisfactory offer.

"Unless we receive a concrete offer that meets our valuation, Jelavic will certainly remain with us," he told Sportnet.at. "We haven't received any offers that would force us to make a decision."

David Moyes was reported to have been to the Gerhard-Hanappi Stadion to look at Jelavic but Hortnagel said he knows nothing of Everton's reported interest.
