There could be some truth in this. He knows this is going to be his last big contract so he will be wanting as much money as he can get. He could get probably 1.5x his salary if he moved on a bosman.He's also shown he's not the type of guy to hang around a club too long

First things first, if Kenny Miller does not want to sign a new contract and wants to leave then let him. We need players who are wanting to play for us and we have lost bigger and better players than Kenny Miller in the past and coped well without them. But that is where the first problem comes in; Miller was quoted in the Daily Record yesterday saying that he wants to stay and that he is enjoying his football. So in 24 hours he changes his mind from wanting to stay for a few more years to wanting to move to a new club inside 3 weeks?

And then we have this quote; 'Bank demands cuts.' We have raked in close to £20m from the CL, spent £4m on Jelavic plues wages of around £20,000 a week, spent over £1m on Beattie plus hefty wages and took Weiss on loan with wages close to £20,000. We also have a better understanding with Lloyds now and surely Walter Smith would not have spent the whole transfer budget in one window when he knew that the sqaud was down to the bare bones and might need to bring in reinforcements in January?
