He is a Mercenary of the highest order and deserves no respect and we should never have signed him probably Walter's worst signing and our worst striker ever. He tried he was just passed it physically. It's hardly his fault that we signed him for that fee and paid him those wages. He signed a contract so of course he would expect the club to honour it. It's only correct that we did. The notion that players would feel the same about the club as you or I and they would just wave goodbye to £1 million is ludicrous.
