Ibroxholm 2,276
Might be good move as he was unlikely to feature much in first team.Presumenwe will have it written in that he will not be able to play against us in the league. However, could do us a turn when they play Hearts and other teams in our division,

AlBear. 8,499
Good news for the boy. Hope he does well at Cowdenbeath and comes back better for it. Hopefully he learns from McKay's failure last season and puts the effort in. Sure he will as he seems to have a good head on his shoulders. there'sonlyoneamoruso 1,724
Good luck to him. Better playing for Cowdenbeath rather than not makingvthe squad on matchdays at Ibrox.I take it he will be training with us too as Cowdenbeath are part time? JRodgA2k8 542
I don't trust our coaches to develop our young talent...so happy with this.
PRW. 5,631
I honestly don't understand why he isn't at least getting chances from the bench for us. Impressed every time he's played but 34 year old, ever regressing, Kenny Miller will be ahead of him in the pecking order.
Jimfanciesthedude 24,552
is anyone actually surprised at this, watch and see ally moan at the lack of striking options in a few weeks with daly still not match fit
Bad Robot 21,152
I'm not thinking this is a good move but aslong as we can recall him at anytime.
MasterD 7,435
Good move for him staying in the league we play in. Hopefully he does well.
Reformation Bear 6,453
Gallagher and Gasparotto going on loan moves looks sensible to me. I wouldn't be surprised if some others are farmed out for first team experience. Would be good if some went to Premiership clubs or to English clubs but maybe thats too much of an ask.January will arrive soon enough and by then it will be much much clearer what Rangers will need to do to win promotion this season. The option of bringing players back who have had first team match time and who would presumably be very eager to help Rangers get promotion may be no bad thing. Because the financials to the end of the season will also be clearer in January. For instance will we or won't we see continued much-reduced home support at Ibrox which may affect the Club's attitude to selling players in Jan - and if some have to leave to help the finances then those loaned out may well get their chance in one of the most important seasons in the history of the Club. Ibrox_Nights 429
Just the way it is at our shambles of a club.Get a sniff, do well, show confidence and no small amount of ability, then get dropped for no apparent reason.Good luck to the lad making an impact at the blue brazil. All the while rank average players and journeymen on vomit inducing wages are virtually guaranteed a game, even when some of the form they display is horrendous.Your hard work has earned you a loan spell at Cowdenbeath, Calum. It's as good as a boot in the stones.
OlegKuznetsov 10,816
Disappointed with this one. The lad has shown real initiative, genuine pace, good confidence, vision and a fair talent.Hopefully he gets the game time and returns all the better. All the best Calum, young man. I hope we see you back to fulfil that considerable potential.

Young Bob 1,360
Fair enough if he does well and comes back and is selected. Cant see it though.McCoist is going to shit himself to stick Luca in the centre of the defence but he should have no concerns about playing Gallagher. Then again maybe Ally see's Calum as a centre half.

now then forever 298
What difference will it make if he impresses? He impressed for us last season and his attitude is supposed to be spot on. For that he got no starts this year and farmed out to cowdenbeath!
TheCutch 4,340
The whole truth is that McCoist does not have one ounce of trust in our youths.A point that was proven with the most ridiculous signing of the summer in Robinson.Basically just told our young goalies that they are not good enough to sit on the bench for a few weeks. skinnymate1690 625
in one way its an utter shambles because he should be in and around the 1st team . he has done enough to merit it . But its ally and gallagher is probably a good 7/8 years off being ready for regular first team football in his eyes
AlBear. 8,499
Really gets so over-hyped by many after a few appearances at the end of last season. This loan can be the making of him.
