RFC Eagle 4,888
Decent performance today,,,but it was friggin freezing. Wee murdoch deserved his MOM award. He had a good game but I thought Shiels played very well in central midfield his distribution was good and he was always pointing out the next pass to Murdoch and Crawford. I think McCall has drummed into them the need to retain possession and it may explain why they were taking the safer option and showing patience in the build up when everyone was shouting for the ball to go forward. HG5 11,412
Not quite as bad. Still one of the worst games I've ever been to Oh dear!
cd true bluenose 86
Can see Falkirk as a banana skin - they didn't subside like we did in Dumfries today.Of course, it could have been an 'after the Lord Mayor's Show' day for QotS.think we need to sort out our back four
bombaybadboy08 15,660
With Ally or Kenny still in charge I genuinely believe we'd be out of the top 4. I mean you could wipe the 6 points we took from HIVs and Hearts away and we'd have dropped more points along the road somewhere else too.Yep, my view too. Reformation Bear 6,453
Given the importance of the game - a low attendance. Pity. Seems as though quite a number are now just waiting to see what happens this season. What else would account for a low turnout for an important enough game in a vital season. BLUEDIGNITY 33,722
Good enough performance, happy with result and Stuart McCall's influence but attendance tells the story of fans not convinced by what's going on at board level. The boycotting and poor football days beginning to hit home ! Sorry if the truth hurts ! Those responsible know the score !
blueretro 704
I know we won 4-0 today but I thought we performed poorly. It all seemed very pedestrian to me. Raith are the worst team I've seen us play all season. This second spot could come down to goal difference. If we had played at a higher tempo we could have had a cricket score. Clemdog 39,389
I think we need to encourage Vuckic to shoot more often, obviously on his left foot, every time he has an angle on it he finds the corner.

HG5 11,412
think we need to sort out our back four Agreed - wouldn't like to say what our best line up is, though.Sounds like Crawford did ok at RB. Didn't see the game myself - anybody think he might be the answer (at least until we get out of this division)?
Trooblue 1,983
True not sure why teams sit back and let us come at them Hearts Hibs and now Raith have been punished for itWhilst QoS were in our faces and we didn't have a clue how to handle itVukic does look OK at this level, but why do defenders show him inside when he's weak on his right foot.Yes, Vuckic's goal today was a copy of the one against Hearts. I have the feeling that he would be fine at a higher level than this, but I think we'll struggle to keep him.
dalton 1,192
Just got home after long drive over the border - thought we did ok and crawford especially impressed in an unfamilar role .Our defence take too long to press the ball up the park and noticed that too manyof the forward line instead of making runs into space to get the ball are content to hold up the balland pass it back part of the reason we are so predictable.Highlight of my day was getting my picture taken going into the ground with michael mols .Dont get to many games - so enjoyed it . TheBluenose1972 1,405
Raith at home was exactly what we needed after the drubbing midweek, Not the best performance but decent enough to hammer Raith as they were never going to be a problem. HG5 11,412
Agree, the win was important but 4-0 was a bit flatteringHelpful boost to the goal difference at this stage - hope that doesn't come into it, though!
Dietspam 733
I wouldn't say it was flattering. We scored the 4 goals, it's not like it was 4 own goals. We were never in any danger really. Pedestrian at times but i wasn't expecting a full blown 90 mins with steam coming out their arses like the Hearts game. We scored 4 good goals today and deserved every one of them IMO. theiconicman 3,013
They sat deep and flooded their defence. Saying that we were far too pedestrian going forward, against poor teams like this we should be leaving more men upfield to capitalise and break. 16BlueSherbert90 19,287
Clearly didn't like the idea of me booting their backsides yesterday Wasn't a beautiful game, however it will do for now. Want to see them up their game though or I might still have to visit their changing room yet, lol
RD.1872 890
Surely after yesterday it's time Boyd was dropped for good. His sitter after Vuckic played him in was a shocker and hopefully young Hardie is given the chance ahead of him. A shadow of the player he once was.
