That says to me the guy would rather be out playing first team football than sitting in the reserves, good attitude to have

Aye but he's only been picked for 89 games in 7 year and scored 2 goals, hopefully he's got something else as well as optimism !

Sounds exactly what we're after.

Type of player I was confident Warburton would know about through his knowledge and contacts down south.

Buzzing about the club at the moment. Fantastic feeling.

Me feeling that too, it seems wigan and birmingham fans think highly of him. Plus I trust Warburton has good knowledge of what type of player he needs for the team plans he has.

Just love the bbc. We sign a player who has not played alot and he's a flop, ceptic sign a player who has not played a lot and hes a star. Makes you wonder who writes their stories.

You got a link to that?

Arseholes.

Congratulations to the board for digging deep and backing Warbs to the tune of 200k. I'm not sure we should be blowing so much of our warchest on the one player, no matter how good he is. It's great knowing we beat so many other clubs to his signature.

The kids already seen more clubs than Arnold Palmer and might also be injured. He could be our next Michael Ball or Sebastian Rosenthal.

But, Look out Celtic, here we come. :peanut:

Kiernan is a good buy, he can pass the ball well and has worked under Roberto Martinez. Has learned to play out from the back. Positive move from Warburton.

Kinda reminiscent of Souness by signing a player right away that caused a bit of controversy lol. Happy with this though.

Good player, I reckon this would be a great signing. We need players who can pass it out from the back, and Kiernan is one of them. The fact he can play in both defense and midfield is an added bonus. Good age too, and should have plenty of sell on value if it comes to that.

Also he was quality for me in football manager. A stalwart at the back during AFC Wimbledon's Europa League winning season.
