Good luck wherever you end up Darren. You were one of the only ones who seemed to give a fuck last season.

Thanks for your service :)

It's probably the right move though, he doesn't seem to be in the managers plans, and I'd imagine he is on a pretty decent wage. His wage is now off the wagebill, and we can use that money to bring in someone that suits Warburtons plans.

If he was on a decent wage I doubt he just walked away without a payoff ( which unlike some sponges he would deserve) as he will be lucky to earn the same elsewhere, unless he has got a move to England in the pipeline

A shame to see him go as he gave his all and done ok for us

expect another one or two of these mutual consent. Suspect we offered it to Zal and he said no.

That's the problem with our leftovers from last year. They aren't in demand so no one will pay a fee for them, this saves money on the wage bill and clearly he was at least 4th choice or maybe lower.

Wish him all the best, bu don't sign for hibs mate, I think he might go back to St Mirren tbh.

Good luck to him.

Like someone else said, he was the only one who looked like he gave a fuck - especially during that shambolic Old Firm game earlier this year.

However he did sell 1st and most important goal after getting caught under the ball allowing Griffiths to head unchallenged.

Seen it on Twitter somewhere that he was paid a 1/3 of his remaining contract up front to leave. 5k a week. Probably somewhere around 80k paid to leave us and sign on somewhere like Killie for 1500 or 2k a week.

He was a decent player and seems like a genuinely nice guy as well but not in the warburton mould so best to move on.

Good luck to him.
