He believes there was a campaign by Rangers supporters to get him sacked from the BBC following his " the club that died " remarks during an interview he was conducting. That didn't happen as he then left the BBC so that he could be "less constrained in what he was saying".I would say that following his twitter remarks today that:1. He is excising his "less constrained" prerogative2. Rangers fans were absolutely correct in exposing him as a Rangers hating bigot3.
