gogzy 31,195
Windass is an attacking midfielder. Crooks is the DM.Thaks, so the question would be.... Who is the better option, Windass or DdB?
AlBear. 8,499
Windass is an attacking midfielder. Crooks is the DM.Aye and DdB was the best CF in Scottish football but we play him CM.Josh will play where the Hat tells him to.

BlueThunder 8,454
Are people seriously suggesting that Shiels would consider going to Accrington Stanley?
rosco88 66
Not a chance of Sheils going to accrington. They have the lowest budget in the football league (think the average player wage is 400 quid a week). Shiels must be on 10x that

cumnockbear 2,446
It's a slap in the face to the younger players trying to make the breakthrough as well to those players who have served us well such as Sheils. Silly signingTell me that again when he's scoring against the tims.
Tontospal 1,116
I like Shiels and think he has had as good a season as you can have when your appearances are mostly as sub.I think he is a valuable squad player and has been unlucky not to get a run in the starting X1. Understandable as Law has come good lately whilst Halliday and Holt have made the other 2 midfield positions their own.

Silly signingits a cut throat business. Either you are good enough or you aren't. Its not pretty, but its commonplace and if its building a better Rangers team and squad then people just need to move on. Shiels has served us decently - and was paid extremely well to do so. Either he stays and fights for his place - or MW talks frankly to him and he moves on.I haven't seen anything in the younger players we have, that suggests they will hit the ground running in the SPFL - and thats what we need. siddiqi_drinker 14,635
People need to understand that MW will bring in players based on their ability and the budget, if any, available to him. Expect we may bin a few players including Shiels and Clark in the summer
StornowayBlue 630
Great news if true. I'd be gutted to see him arriving in any deal involving Shiels though and disappointed its even been suggested. Agree with TP that he's having a decent season and I'd like to see him feature more.
