Sket 13,610
10 million over 6 years. That is laughable and embarrassing
BRITNEY IS NOT FEELING IT 8,293
Laughable deal At least liewells Thai tims are being kept happy
bombaybadboy08 15,660
Probably under the impression that the £10 million figure would distract everyone into thinking that it's a good deal. Like renting out your season ticket for a grand over 5 seasons.
HuistraHairDo 12,496
Wish we got out this tin pot outfit of a league when we had the chance ie when we were not registered with the useless cunts. how the ppl running the leagues are still in a job is beyond me. rbr 364
It's not spread over 12 teams , it's over the whole set up as they merged remember , however if you remember the much lauded deal where the top three teams gave up prize money for the merger to go through , well a small clause was inserted where the champions of the premier league got the first million back once the revenue deals increased , surprise surprise eh
CF2 WINNIE 1,006
£10million for 6 years, shows you how the SPFL is valued 6 years including 4 old firms per year worth the same as 1 game Sunderland VS Aston Villa

gj923 1,457
You could get more than 10 million over that time if you put extended highlights on youtube FFS. Would have loved a journalist (yes I know there is none amongst them but that is their job title) so how much will each club actually get per annum? You can guarantee that the mob that set the deal up will probably take 10-15%, some more will be spunked into the SPFL so I would be suprised if we actually got much change of 50k per year. Shower of useless utter tossers.
johanhentze 14,154
10 million over 6 years.. Fuck, Wayne Rooney makes that in 30 weeks!

TonyRice1872 105
the article itself doesn't say 140k per club per year, for all we know it would be 6 million to RFC and cfc - point: unless you somehow know how much it would get our club then don't try slate it the deal is clearly improved since the last one we probably don't get more than 50k tv money annually right now even though we're the highest viewed club in SPFL The deal will subconsciously gain us more in other deals we enter such as kits due to improved live broadcasting reach to 102 countries per live match
cumnockbear 2,446
Pathetic deal, we should bring Rangers TV back to the telly and go our separate ways from this farce of an FA in terms of deals.
TheBluebells 6,898
That really is grim.
TonyRice1872 105
Grim? it's improved since the current deal, I take it yous didn't know anything about the current deal ................... The article itself doesn't tell you the real breakdown, obvisouly the bottom 3rd div club don't get as much as the Prem winners If you knew the details and cost breakdown of the current deal (which we barely receive anything off even though we're the most watched SPFL club), then you would maybe be qualified to comment on this one
KingKirk 25,695
I hope when we return the tv deal goes back to normal and all our away trips will be on tv
plumbGER 24,518
Looks like Liewell has used his family connections in the far east,no doubt in exchange for the lions share of the 10million
Gooseman 889
The only good thing about the deal is that it brings in some more money into Scottish football. The guys heading up our game really have no idea what they are doing. Anybody with half a brain Could probably negotiate a far more lucrative agreement. 139k a year is, to be honest, pathetic when compared to what goes on in the epl. They should start by saying that the price is 10 million a year for 10 years and if you want Rangers and Celtic the price goes to 30 million a year. Most would walk away but if they really want the old firm then they should be made to pay for it.
Cottonbudjoe 127
Does that mean RangersTV won't be allowed to show the games in those countries if they are on TV? Rangers could end up losing money out of this shit deal.

Copland bear 7,966
We should not be getting involved in any deal. Was it not the case that Portuguese clubs could negotiate their own deals? If that is to be the case than then that's the route we take. Fuck your Aberdeen's and Motherwells of this world, As it is I would not sign any deal involving Rangers with these cunts. Let it run out and tell them all to get to fuck. We are breaking no rules we need to look after Rangers football club. Just tell Mr Doncastor no thanks. Negotiate a contract without us as we are looking to negotiate our own games.
bornabear 6,208
10m over 6 years, or to really show it's worth = 1.66m per season. Against what the EPL has achieved = peanuts. Going on Dungcaster's negotiations skills, we'll soon be back to pre-war deals. (that's WW1 BTW).
kris1984 1,272
From StvGrant @martingrantross Hi Martin. You're clued up on the SPFL/MP & Silva deal... any idea if today's announcement guarantees new cash? and the reply @STVGrant No, it's a 9-year deal. Revenue share over & above MP & Silva's minimum guarantee (£2.5m/year). So unlikely. PR exercise really
