Stewarding and Security Today

I can explain the reason behind it all even if I do think agree with it. Police Scotland don't work under any person they work under the legislation put in place by everybody. In a democracy bills are voted on but every politician more than the snp supported the football laws.

Rangers fans are targeted there are no denying this this is due to our fan based being one of the most bigoted and and staunch. Not because we are Rangers fans but because of our history. (In most cases, of course individual police can act depending on their own  allegiances)

the Cup Final was a big fuck up and we were the scapegoat. There is no denying Scottish football and most of the media hate us and we need protection but not every show of policing or stewarding is police brutality or victimisation

Bead rattler.

Anyway away and think of something else to blame the snp and yes voters for.

Your no better than the manky  conspiracy architects themselves.

I don't fancy getting into another politics debate with uneducated idiots that probably doesn't even believe whatyour preaching and just say it coz Yir da says it.

That makes absolutely no sense. Do you not know that the SNP are the ones who broke up individual areas and made one police force - police Scotland? I'm sure you will agree that it has been a complete failure but that's for another debate.

To call a majority of Rangers fans bigots beggars belief and TBH calling Rangers fans uneducated (in your previous rant) is utterly atrocious considering it was the 55% of Scotland that said no and not just Rangers fans. If it wasn't for No voters this country would be on its knees so really the 45% should be thanking us - again for another debate and not for today.

Back on topic the amount of police presence around the Rangers support yesterday was OTT. Anybody neutral looking in would be forgiven for thinking that it was us that invaded the pitch and goaded the opposition fans <cr>

I did not notice it much in the first half on TV, but in the second half it looked ridiculous with stewards right up in front of our fans. Surely our board needs to complain about this treatment.

Totally agree, the board have to address this matter with a threat attached. Fucking disgraceful behaviour from security, yet once again our player came face to face with a bawbag, where was the security there?

From the pictures on TV is was self-evident that Rangers fans were being targeted.

Then again, as someone else has suggested on this thread, there wasn't many other supporters there.

Although enough to invade the pitch once again if they so choose to do so.

I think I'll write to Nicola her and her government with sectarianism at football matches. Well, certainly supporting the dehumanisation of Rangers supporters.
