He is more interested grappling with defenders rather than looking for space or running into the box .He doesn't link up play and breaks down are attack with constantly looking for a free kick that is a sign of a player that lacks ability when you are trying to involve the ref all the time . His ratio of shots to goals is terrible he is an absolute monumental fuck up as far as value for money goes at 29 there is no likelihood of him improving he had a good record in the third tier of English football but in the championship 6 goals in 41 matches in his full season shows that his level is third tier football . Na I don't but that argument - the players are not what we expect or were used to but it's the new reality and what we have - i understand thee are folks that think to get the best out of people is to shout and swear at them but I think it's much better to get the best out of people by passionate encouragement not passionate negativity. I'm definately in the minority but as bad as he clearly is quality wise, I don't mind him because I think he's genuinely trying he best. Awful player but giving it everything. The likes of Tav swaggering around like he's Dani Alves, while every left midfielder in Europe's worst league has a field day against us, annoys me much more. To be fair to Garner he never asked to be a 1.8m player others decided that, he had never played for a big football club or fans like us and the pressures of having to win at all costs.
