I still don't think you're quite getting this jet lag malarkey. They're 4 hours ahead, that's all you need to know. You don't have to visit the country to figure out if that will have an impact ? You don't have to visit the country to figure out if that will have an impact ? okay thanks for your opinion, I just wondered if flying to Russia gave a person jet lag. as I have never been. if so how will it affect athletes and also what do they to combat it, if they get it. any way I'm glad international week is coming up so that the team can have a well deserved rest after such an heavy schedule. Sweetheart has never been to Russia, therefore he may not be entirely sure of the distance, time difference (and Russia is a big place, the country has many time zones), and how it will affect the team. He didn't say it was impossible to know since he has never been, only that he didn't know. Loads of people talk about jet lag like that. "Aye the jet lag is brutal when you go to Japan". "Not much jet lag when you're just going to Italy". Unfortunately, jet lag is is apparently worse when you from from west > east, so any jet lag they may get will be intensified by that.
