Rangers supporter stabbed

Can't believe a report on a serious assault, involving others who took part in a horrific attack and murder on another,  is being written as a school pantomime in a national newspaper.

Why are they not taken to task by the Independent Press Standards Organisation ?

And why are decent people not highlighting these issues to the Press Complaints Commission ?

Has all moral decency and opinion now left Scotland ?

The only half excusable reason for the headline is if the reporter is trying to rip the pish out of the scummy coward even further.

Obviously cant take jokes about his fucking huge inbred ears, so hopefully the headline infuriates him.

Really should not be makign light of the story though, its terrible.

Yeah I also took it that the journalist was mocking the perpetrator rather than the victim. There's plenty of fodder out there for journalists to make jokes about though, not when someone has been stabbed and beaten.

Funny how the focus of the story is the provocation of the attack, rather than the actual attack itself. When in actual fact it was the most minor of jibes.

This rather than focusing on the fact a sellik fan stabbed a Rangers fan.

Now can you imagine how a similar but reverse scenario would be portrayed?

All that doesn't take into account the utterly insensitive headline either.

Seems the digital editor is a rampant celtic fan,  I have just found out.  Which makes a lot of sense now.

More and more I read about Rangers fans being attacked, it’s like open season on us at times. And the media are just passing it off like a joke and if it’s ok and no big deal. A few boys were telling me that tarriers have started hanging about the flats at Bellahouston Park giving bears abuse and trying to provoke trouble. Yet all I read about is anti catholic and anti Irish bigotry in this country!!

Just shows how vital it is to control the media.

I can't believe that any Rangers supporter buys either the sun or the record or give their website any hits. Both are scummy tarrier rags full of kid on journalists that love nothing better than to put the boot into our team and fans whenever they have a chance. Dirty tarrier pedo bastards the fucking lot of them.

Why? The only way to keep on top of what these wankers are up to,  is by having at least one bear or so click the link to pass it on and keep us in the loop.

How can we do anything about it, if we keep ourselves in the dark?!

You might not necessarily want to do anything about it,  but there are fellow bears who work tirelessly to do something.  It's not always successful,  but at least we know.... and it gives a bit of light entertainment on their stupidity, occasionally(not this OP,  obviously)

There's a reason why people on here post this stuff in full - so, we don't have to go to the link,  but they also post the link as proof that its been written, since there are a few doubters on here who ask for the proof.

Ridiculous I know.  Imagine not trusting your fellow bears.  Tut.

some of the responses from Rangers supporters after I tweeted that are an absolute embarrassment.

Have they posted up pics of their season tickets to prove they are actually Rangers supporters or just tarriers pretending to be Bears.

But then mind you we do have a section of heid bangers in our support. Fuck some of them post on here daily..

DISNEY DESERVE THAT (obviously the journalist finds this funny)

Killer celtic fan stabbed Rangers supporter outside Ibrox after he called him ‘Dumbo’ because of his big ears

Brute Lee Noonan, 21, attacked Gary Crawford, 52, with a metal pen over the 'stick out' lugs jibe

Lee Noonan stabbed a Rangers fan who called him 'Dumbo'

Noonan’s assault came just 24 hours after he helped to murder a stranger nearby.

The High Court in Glasgow heard Noonan, fellow killer Robbie Brown, 18, and a pal belted out Hoops songs as the victim left Ibrox Stadium with two friends following the Light Blues’ 2-0 win over Hearts.

Gary told how he chanted Gers songs “to drown them out” — prompting one to turn and shake his hand calling it “banter”.

But soon after he was bundled to the ground and stabbed in his chest and arm.

Gary Crawford was confronted after Gers played Hearts

Friend Mark Copper told cops the attack unfolded after Noonan said Gers were “s****”.

He added: “Gary said something like him looking like Dumbo because of his big ears. One of the others said ‘Don’t call him that’.”

He said Noonan produced a weapon before two thugs went “mental” as Gary was attacked.

Noonan claimed the victim had tried to trip him up.

Prosecutor Sheena Fraser said: “You took out a metal pen and stabbed Gary Crawford twice.”

Noonan, of Ibrox, replied: “I thought I only stabbed him once — but I may have twice.”

Rangers fan ‘stabbed in back’ and his dad ‘knocked unconscious’ after brutal attack in Glasgow city centre ‘by at least 20’ celtic fans following Old Firm clash

Noonan, of Ibrox, replied: “I thought I only stabbed him once — but I may have twice.”

Details emerged during last week’s murder trial. Noonan, Brown and Paul Green, 31, were found guilty of killing James Watt, 40, at his home in Ibrox in a frenzied attack with knives and a golf club on February 23.

Train worker Green, who accused defenceless Watt of bottling his dad, had recruited the strangers for the deadly assault.

Lord Summers branded the murder “vile and brutal”. Sentence deferred.
