Yet nothing to say about his player being sbused in a sectarian manner against the tims. Defends himself but not his players? Or just selective offendedness?

It’s what they’re best at!

Again shows the oddity that is scottish football.

He should have been livid that his team played so badly they never had a single shot in goal, yet instead, he plays that Scottish football magic deflection card, sectarianism. It's a few words.

The old saying that offence is taken, not given is very apt in this situation. He wasn't bothered at all about the sectarian abuse thrown at Boyd just last week, and in fact Boyd himself played it down a touch, but rightly highlighted the coin throwing (which had  minimal airing in the press).

At the time, Clarke wanted to "talk about the football", now he wants to make an issue.

Scotland does have an issue with sectarianism, but it isn t the one way street that the issue is painted out as. That issue will remain as long as these idiots don't acknowledge the issue and that it isnt a West of Scotland, protestant exclusive thing. They are marginalizing a section of society, and in turn are actually the bigots.

Yes, it's obvious that Clarke is raising his hand for the celtic job, but have a bit of class and dignity about it. I very much doubt that ibrox is the first football stadium in Scotland he has been to where he has been called a fenian, and it won't be the last. Just so happens his speaking out coincides with a thumping.

it's the disparity in the reporting and the general apathy that comes from either protestant abuse or physical abuse against our current and former players. Where does it stop before action or at the least condemnation is taken  against them.

What Clarke has done here is show is own prejudices, his own baggage. You could see the disdain in that conference. It wasn't anger in the traditional sense. It went deeper than that. I fully expect the Scottish parliament to be debating this in the coming days. If they do, again it highlights what we as a people are against. Still, there will be some who will have their eyes closed and believe that Scotland is a fair and equal society. It's far from it.

The last I checked you could leave Scotland at anytime, so he is free to go anytime he wishes .

This is just a smokescreen to another performance where his team had no shots at goal and failed to do anything in the game.

He is always a victim.

Clarke is going down the same road as George Burley did - a good run with a smaller team before succumbing to the bottle and descending into an alcoholic jakey shambles.

Hope kilmarnock plummet down the table as well, they've become a horrible team to play against on their 4th rate pitch and the less we see of them the better.

We we’re calling him onion heed in the broomie last night, surely that’s no sectarian?

Big fenian onion heeded bawbag

Ah but if you called him a big onion heeded bawbag bastard, now thats sectarianism! It's all about the bastard (the bastard, no treble)

As expected the pundits are jumping on this.

Michael Stewart is backing Clarke. He now wants strict liability where clubs can be docked points for fan behaviour.

Where was all this mock outrage at the weekend.

Exactly, actually laughed out loud when Clarke mentioned about how glad he was to raise his children in a city where over 96 young men have died as a result of violent knife crime instead of the West of Scotland where they face the potential danger of hearing a ‘bad’ song at the football. Guy is a joke...
