So it’s good we are fuming at drawing with benfica the way it happened. However as above shows , we are in a very good place and the result at the other side of the city shows that if we continue to demand high standards and the players maintain anywhere near this level of consistency , then we will win this league comfortably. St Johnstone away is one where we’ve struggled in the past so it’s key. Bit of a scunner today, but would have taken a draw at the start tbh - but we will be looking at Benfica at home to top the group and progress. Domestic, just keep the run going - the scum will be dropping again soon. Keep up the physiological pressure, they are crumbling under it at the moment. A draw away to our toughest opponents in Europe is a good result & would rather drop points in Europe than the league but hopefully a bit of disappointment for the team that leads to us pushing on again! Their game plan went right out the window after the sending off, if I’m honest it was bizarre, most teams try harder with 10, isolate their lone striker but they just lost all belief! I think we were almost getting a little sloppy with our Barcelona esc passing as we were so comfortable. anyhoo its done now n they players will have taken great confidence and hopefully are angry at themselves for giving it away n we see a reaction. Despite the scum being shite, they will likely win both home games in hand and only be 3 behind. We will lose at some point and draw so lets not panic.
