unreal how they both kept that ball in the corner for 3 minutes and everytime the Motherwell players got near they hit the ball off them and out for throw ins and corners, loved watching it, their close control was great.

thats how you see a game out and so glad they learned from those Benfica games, thats what we needed in both those games, credit to both of them.

Itten breaking through on goal and turning back was very smart as well. Easy thing was to take a shot from a tight angle and give the ball away. He knew that despite breaking through that there wasn't really a proper chance there so turned back and headed straight for the corner again, very smart.

I was delighted to see that.  Too often do we keep attacking, especially Morelos.  Earlier in the season I remember Itten taking on a stupid shot too.  I was absolutely delighted to see us just being professional and running the clock down.  Winners.

so impressed with him, his hold up play is great, hes a big strong lad, usually with big gangly type guys their close control is pish but him and Aribo the ball just seems to stick to them.

He was great today. Seems to have his best performances for us coming off the bench.

If only we had done that Lisbon.

we couldve done with that in both games against Benfica, we have the guys with the close control to do it so why didnt we?

also this was two young guys, in both Benfica games it was our senior pro's giving the ball away in stupid areas.

Pity Kamara didn't think of doing that on Wednesday night when he gave the ball away in the middle of the park which ended up being the build up to their third goal.

Two weeks ago we’d have been askin what the fuck, but today then well, we needed it. If we’re gonna see the league out then there’s gonna be peaks and troughs. Today needed the ugly shit but thank fuck we did it. Shows you the fine line we’ve been walking. Psychological now. That would have been a massive lift for them if we had been beat but now that will feel like a proper kick in the stones for the cunts.

At situations like that.....(with Motherwell having everyone in their own box.....and us with a defender on the half way line) I don't know why we don't punt it all the way back to our keeper. Ultimate piss take. Ball in our own box.....their players have to (presumably) run the length of the pitch to get near it....before we fire it back down again. Would easily waste 30 seconds or so!

Apparently Shagger jept his wife waiting at the altar the other week. And when asked "Do you take this woman to be your lawful wedded wife?" He....

Cleaned the grass from his boots...

Went to the bench for a sip of water...

Looked around bemused as if lost....

Looked for a ref to complain to...

Checked his text messages and emails...

And after 90 minutes passed, said "I do."

And when asked to kiss the bride nipped out to the loo for 20 minutes to shag the bridesmaids first.
