We had wee 4th gear bursts when it suited us.

If we went full on and played in 5th gear as we have done in Europe it would have been more.

Not worth the risk of players getting injured or cards.

Btw I hope Borna recovers soon. His crosses are top class. Integral to our success.

Why not? Season is done.

Today just shows the turnaround we've made under our manager.

3 years ago these bastards were routinely beating us.

Now we've just completed an unbeaten season against them and left them with scars they'll never forget.

Made up for it with the no look back pass in the dying minutes of the game when they were already pumped 3 - 1.

Added another few million onto his price tag with that magic imo.

Genuinely makes me laugh every time I think about it. He’s such a weird prick. Can only hope he sticks around there for next season along with his pals Duffy and Welsh.

Still absolutely buzzing about yesterday!

I think I had genuinely forgot how it felt to totally batter them.

Yeah, it was really good. The 2-0 win at their dump early in the year was total dominance, but racking the goals up is what it’s all about.

I'm the same. It keeps popping into my head and I just can't get over how much of a wanker he is and then I have a wee chuckle.

He definitely wanks looking into the mirror.

World media reacts to Rangers thumping celtic as Scott Brown 'humiliation' makes headlines

Steven Gerrard's Premiership champions were in dominant form with the eyes of the world on Ibrox.

The term "Glasgow bubble" always feel a bit defunct when it's clear Rangers and celtic 's Sunday showdown once again captured the imagination worldwide.

Steven Gerrard's side delivered another bruising blow to their city rivals with a 4-1 win at Ibrox, underlining an impressive dominance over a side they once struggled to lay a glove on.

Kemar Roofe's double plus strikes from Alfredo Morelos and Jermain Defoe ensured 10-man celtic would finish a campaign without victory over their old foes for the first time in 21 years.

Morelos, who has now well and truly broken his derby duck, was lauded in his native Colombia and beyond as the world's media cast a keen eye over events in Govan.

Scott Brown 's final appearance in the fixture was a painful one for the Parkhead captain and he too featured in headlines and reaction.

Rangers are not quite Invincible but against humiliated celtic they are unbeatable - big match verdict

I hope Eddie Howe to celtic is already done or he might have second thoughts after Rangers shocker - Chris Sutton

And the 23 point chasm Rangers have now opened up also proved a key theme in reports.

Here's a selection of media reaction from around the world.

Qatar Times (Qatar)

"Scottish champions Rangers thrashed 10-man celtic 4-1 to ensure a miserable end to Hoops captain Scott Brown's Old Firm career.

"celtic midfielder Brown will join Aberdeen in the close-season after 14 years largely in the dominant position in Glasgow's bitter Old Firm derbies.

"There was no last success for Brown however as Kemar Roofe's double and strikes from Alfredo Morelos and Jermain Defoe gave Steven Gerrard's side a convincing victory at Ibrox.

"celtic were reduced to 10 men after Callum McGregor collected two quick-fire bookings and Odsonne Edouard's equaliser of Roofe's opener was as good as it got for the deposed champions.

"Rangers' biggest derby victory since 2007 kept them on course for an unbeaten Scottish Premiership season.

"Not only have Rangers ended celtic's bid for 10 successive Scottish titles this season, but they have now also completed an unbeaten top-flight campaign against them for the first time in 21 years.

"And they now only have Livingston and Aberdeen to overcome as they seek to round off an invincible league campaign."

The paper also noted John Kennedy withdrawing Brown in the second half to spare him "further humiliation".

That was Brown's final involvement as John Kennedy spared the captain any further humiliation, introducing Ismaila Soro.

But celtic's anguish was not over yet as Defoe completed the rout with a close-range finish in stoppage-time.

A BOLA (Portugal)

"Rangers, a long-time Scottish champion, received and thrashed celtic 4-1, clearly imposing themselves on Glasgow rivals in the Old Firm.

Kemar Roofe, opened the scoring for Steven Gerrard's team, who played with one more for McGregor's expulsion from celtic.

"Even in numerical inferiority, the visiting team was able to reach the 1-1 right afterwards through Edouard.

"But it would be Rangers to go to the break in front with Alfredo Morelos' goal.

"In the second half, Roofe scored twice and Jermaine Defoe made the final score 4-1 .

"With two games to go, Rangers now have 96 points and are 23 ahead of celtic."

NETTAVISEN SPORT (Norway)

"For Ajer, Elyounoussi and teammates, it was a hard day at work. The former got into the Rangers box with a great solo raid after 78 minutes, but the finish slipped off the foot and went almost impressively far outside.

"With two games to go, Rangers now have 96 points and 23 ahead of celtic."

Sport.sk (Slovakia)

"The 425th Glasgow football derby became a prey for the Rangers on Sunday.

"Already a Scottish champion, they defeated celtic 4-1 in the 36th league round and confirmed their sovereign position in the table, which they leads with a 23-point lead over the city rival."

Gol Caracol (Colombia)

"Rangers beat celtic 4-1 in a new edition of the most important classic in Scotland.

"Alfredo Morelos returned to shine with the 'Gers'.

"The Colombian did not go unnoticed in the most important game of his league and scored the second goal for the blue team.

"Morelos Aviléz was reported on the scoreboard at minute 33 of the first stage, after receiving the ball inside the area and the 'cafetero' took off a rival, to finish off a powerful right that got into the angle of the goal of the verdiblancos, for the partial 2-1 .

"'El Búfalo' left the pitch at minute 84 and was replaced by Ians Hagi, son of renowned former Romanian player, Gheorghe.

"The born in Cereté, Córdoba, scored his 12th entry in the league season and the second of the year against his classic rival. The former Independiente Medellian commands the list of scorers in his team.

"The other goals of the 'Teddy Bears' were scored by Kemar Roofe and Jermain Defoe in a victory that once again confirmed Rangers' superiority this season."
